I’m so happy they put a flying biscuit in Alpharetta! This place is so good. We come so much we have our own table and waitress! She always knows what drink I want, the sledgehammer. The place overall is so cozy, I love the set up. There’s never a line when I go but I go at odd times. Definitely a lifetime customer. I hope they last at this location. There has been so many different restaurants there, but this is the best!

We came here to have a southern breakfast experience. It was a disappointing experience. No one liked their food. The asparagus omlette was mediocre. The pancakes were undercooked and awful. If the best thing is yogurt parfait then there is a problem. The price was too much for the quality of food. Also the server who was super nice messed up the order and bill which we had to point out.

Very creative dishes and always a treat. Good service and comfortable location. So why only 4 stars? Well, their namesake biscuits are unremarkable. And the coffee is(yawn)weak, bland.

Great new breakfast place. The service was friendly and efficient. We split a breakfast meal and there was plenty for two people. The biscuits were amazing, and we very much enjoyed the chicken sausage. Took off one star for the somewhat sterile and cold environment. Wish they had more booths or a cozier seating area. I think this location would be ideal for kids, and they also had an «express» counter where you can get food and drinks to go. Overall we really enjoyed our breakfast. We will definitely be back!

This is a new flying biscuit location, a few miles deeper into the suburbs than the Norcross location. I visited on a Sunday morning at the perfect time to beat the brunch crowd. We were seated immediately and helped immediately too. I ordered the Piedmont omelette and others at my table had a variety of dishes. They were all good, but I liked my meaty omelette the best. Once the food was delivered there was a lack of service in terms of refills and getting an extra plate. There were definitely people we could see standing around but we were not able to make eye contact with them since they had their backs turned the entire time. Besides that the food was good and the interior was nicer than the Norcross location. Would visit again

The environment is strangely decorated with a variety of crazy colors. Our table and chairs were sticky and made my purse and hands sticky bleh. The food was very subpar and I will not return in the future. I ordered the southern eggs Benedict and it was overly saucy and cheesy with a soggy biscuit under. The hash browns were soft and not crispy, the way it should be. Would recommend Egg Harbor down the street any day.

I came here for lunch once with my family. When we got to the parking lot, I was a but turned off by all the painting on the windows. It makes the place look tacky and I was expecting to open the door and see a run down diner inside. But when I opened the door I was shocked to find a fresh modern café. We were seated in the windowed area to the side which was nice because you got a lot of natural light. Atmosphere means very little though if the food is no good. I’m not a big fan of breakfast foods but their menu had several items that instantly popped out to me and made the decision hard what to order. I ended up settling on the grits and salmon, the shrimp and grits is more of a staple but I find salmon is harder to cook than salmon so it would be a good test. My wife ordered the Flying Biscuit Breakfast which came with a bit of everything. My dish was absolutely spectacular, the salmon was cooked good and seasoned perfectly, the grits are hands down the best grits my wife and I have ever had. My wife’s dish was good but unfortunately it was served with Turkey bacon, which brings me to my 1 complaint about this place that I hope is reconsidered by the owner/management. I don’t believe there was any pork or beef on the menu at all. This would be ok for a lot of restaurants but when your specialty is in breakfast you gotta have real bacon. The only thing turkey bacon is good for is making you crave REAL bacon. I’m assuming this is being done for religious beliefs which I respect but as a fan of fine foods I must say it is holding the restaurant back and is the reason why I cannot give 5 stars.

Terrible communication from hostess to staff. We’re told 10 minute wait and it was an hour. Never again. Incompetent.

WELCOMETOTHENEIGHBORHOOD! There is now a new Flying Biscuit,(six weeks old), in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area. It is located just west of the Kroger plaza on States Bridge Rd. This space was once occupied by a bagel shop but has since been renovated and expanded. It is warm, cozy and casual. The family and I decided to drop in for breakfast and since I have never eaten at a Flying Biscuit, this was a new experience for me. The menu is varied and creative and as soon as I saw the Southern Scrambler,(with collard greens and bacon), it started screaming my name. Oh my gosh, it was delicious and very flavorful! It was served with a biscuit and breakfast potatoes. The biscuit was light and fluffy and paired nicely with the accompanying apple butter. The apple butter was very light and tasted as if it had just been prepared. Honey butter was also available as a light topping for the biscuits. For me the potatoes needed less salt and more moisture but in no way affected my enjoyment of the meal. The scrambler and biscuit was quite filling and I would not have been able to eat the potatoes had they been any different. They have lots of gluten free options, just hold the biscuit and gravy. My meal was actually gluten free and they added the biscuit after realizing that we were knew to the restaurant and were curious about the biscuits. Not only did everyone enjoy their meal, we all left completely satisfied and probably will not be able to eat for at least 8 hours! This food sticks like Thanksgiving dinner! Our waiter Cody really made the visit great. He had a great personality and a warm sense of humor. He is that guy that you randomly meet and is instantly your friend for real. He is also that guy that keeps you coming back once you have been«bitten». Cody provided awesome service! I love that this place serves breakfast all day and and has extended hours till 8pm during the week and even longer on the weekends. We will definitely be back to try some of their options. So far so good!

Cannot wait to have breakfast here again! My friend and I sat at the bar and James, our server, was so pleasant to talk with and really made our breakfast enjoyable. The service was great and the food was delicious!

I love this location of The Flying Biscuit café. Typically there is a long wait at most locations, that wasn’t the case here. We came around 10:15 and were seated immediately. Lexi the manager was very friendly & accommodating. She came over immediately and took our order bc our server had two tables to be seated at the same time and rather than have us wait Lexi came over and took our order and explained that she was assisting our server. Our server Alisha came to check on us too. This is the best service I’ve received out of all the Flying Biscuits I’ve patronized!

The Egg-Ceptional Eggs dish is delish. I’ve had it twice this week and am already planning my next visit. I’ve been a fan of the original Flying Biscuit in Decatur since my Emory Days of Yore and am thrilled this one has made its way to my neck of the OTP woods. The décor is inviting, the portions are a bountiful sufficiency(to quote my best friend’s southern mama), and the kind and efficient wait staff make for an all around great dining experience. Oh, and while the regular biscuits with cranberry apple butter are flaky perfection, I like the wheat ones even more, even if they aren’t as popular. So if you like wheat, please ask for those so they’ll keep them in stock for when I go! ;)

This is a keeper! A few concepts tried this spot after the original bagelry, but this FB is best yet. Been to many other franchised FBs, while none can beat the original on McLendon?, this new one does admirably. Biscuits and gravy came out hot and perfect chunks of sausage, grits were just cheesed enough and perfectly salted, service with a smile! Thx

This is a fantastic restaurant! I’ve always liked the Flying Biscuit, but this just might be my favorite one. It’s a really nice restaurant, and I love all the windows and the décor. Most of all, the food is delicious! I go for the breakfast items mostly, but they have some excellent lunch and dinner options as well. Although, I have been known to enjoy breakfast for dinner and appreciate having that option here. I loved their warm chicken salad today. Staff is friendly and service was excellent. Very impressive for their first day open!
