This location is not nearly as nice as the others in the area. Very cramped, service is friendly but super slow. The other locations are much more enjoyable.

I’ve now been to half a dozen J. Christopher’s in metro Atlanta. I know the menu, love good coffee, and I can safely eat gluten free. For the most part, the food and service are consistent, although some locations do stand out. The John’s Creek restaurant is one of them. From the moment I walked through the front door, the entire staff was smiling, friendly, and ready to be of service. My poached egg was cooked expertly, and the fruit dish was brimming with delicious strawberries.(I usually order an egg white veggie omelet, but just needed a quick bite this time around.) Connecting to the free Wifi is a breeze, and the staff was happy to let me work in peace between my appointments in the area.

This is my first time at a J. Christopher’s. If I were taking out a group of more than 4 people for breakfast before Cracker Barrel opens here is Cumming, I might go back here. The food is ok; the service was fine. It’s not terribly close to my house so I wouldn’t bother to make the drive unless I had a big group and no CB. Doug W did really love his Eggs Christopher(their twist on eggs benedict).

I have been to J. Christopher’s before, given that it’s a franchise restaurant, I would ‘assume’ that the meals were pretty consistent, but I guess not quite so… Famished, having not eaten for days other than meds, I walked in during lunch to enjoy a nice brunch for the sake of not having eaten anything since being sick with strep throat for a week(sorry to be graphic, but honesty is best justification for my rating that day). Perhaps it was my lack of food for days, everything tasted really salty… So salty that I couldn’t eat anything on my plate. I had the traditional meal: scrambled eggs, ham, cut potatoes, butter biscuit. I wish it wasn’t so, but it was… Regardless, I was sick. Thus, the 3 star. Will I go back? Absolutely. It’s only fair. :)
