Don’t know what has happened to Outback. We used to love it. Went for lunch today and ordered the prime rib. It was not good at all. Very fatty and just not a good cut of meat. On the positive side our waiter, Austin, was great and very attentive. Hope he gets a great job at a better restaurant.

This is a great location. I came in here and my hostess suggested the blooming I onion… Omg sooooo good! I also ordered the sirloin steak medium rare. Very good. The service was exceptional especially my hostess Sara H. She took very good care of my during my dine and she was very professional. Big thumps up. I will be coming back

Went there yesterday, 1÷17÷16. My girlfriend and I split the sirloin and shrimp. Her steak was cooked exactly how she wanted it, my shrimp and my mashed potatoes were great. Our server, Austin, was phenomenal. He was attentive — especially remarkable given how busy the restaurant was while we were there — and friendly, he got our order exactly right, he told jokes, we never went without refills… One of the best waiters I’ve had, seriously. Good food, great service. Definitely visiting again.

We did«call ahead seating» and still waited approximately 10 minutes for our table. The service was slow. Our waiter was cordial but dropped a plate of fries. We quickly apologized and brought more fries.

I think I am done with chain restaurants for the rest of my life(ha, just starting this year). Service has gone way down for this location and the food was… meh to say the least. Our waiter was kind of slow upon ordering and getting our drinks. My steak was kind of tough and they put no butter or brown sugar on my sweet potato. Thats like the prime thing that should of been on there. I added the garlic flavoring to my steak and barely tasted anything. Overall… this will be my last visit to any chain restaurant. Going local from now on.

The restaurant was pretty much empty. Service was slow, the Bloomin’ Onion and my prime rib were delivered warm to almost cold. The prime rib had no flavor and was tough. This was my last visit to a chain steakhouse(I also was not impressed with Longhorn from a previous visit).

I should have read the reviews before we ate here… take heed still understaffed. They had plenty of empty tables but of course the hostess informed us they were understaffed(on a Friday night?) Took 45 mins to get our food and the order was wrong. My daughter basically waited and hour to get her grilled chicken. I don’t get it, the place was packed! I am sticking to Pampas or even Longhorn is better than this location. For what is worth, nothing has changed as far as mgmt having a handle on Guest Service and Operations. Unfortunately, the months old negative reviews including this new one still hold true in Jan 2016. They just don’t get it. I wonder if the management team or corporate ever take the time to listen to what their paying customers experience?

After our order was incorrect and not properly refunded(we picked up to-go food and half of it wasn’t in the bag) we were awarded a disgusting«pastry» wrapped in tin foil that looked like it came from 1999 with our full priced meals. This location has been nothing but a disappointment every time I have been there.

Only gave one star because it’s the only way you can write a review. This poor steakhouse must really be pretty sad. I didn’t bother going past page 1 as I’ve never seen so many poor reviews of an Outback. Can’t help but wonder if the 5-star reviews were written by owners or employees… it’s a shame, I was so in the mood for Outback tonight!

I think Outback needs to chalk this location up to a loss. This happened all in one night. 1. Seated by a hostess who asked for our drink orders while we waited for our server. When we ordered our drinks, she told us she can’t serve alcohol… ok then what’s the point? Or at least put our order in and then have someone of age bring them over. 2. Waited 10 minutes before our server came so we could order our drinks and meal. 3. Drinks came then salads. My drink was knocked over by the food runner. 4. Waited for new drink, while I ate my salad. 5. Drink and food came. Steak was raw in the center. Sent it back. 6. Got the check, had to remove the drink that was knocked over from the check. 7. Split the check with my sister. Both charges were put on my card.

Came here for dinner, Waiter/waitress never came. We left drove down the street and stopped at something new for us, Ipanema Brazilian– really liked it and will write a seperate review. Sorry Outback, didn’t realize how sorry you guys are, but now I realize why Longhorn and the many smaller chains really leave you guys in the dust. Just happy this bad experience led us to a new favorite.

I give this location 3 stars because the food was good but they seemed under staffed. Our server was pleasant but was so lost. Perhaps she was new. The food took way to long to come out. Had to wait and ask for for silver ware, napkins, refills. Was told 20 minute wait although I saw many empty tables. I noticed other guests seated near us felt the same way. This is a management problem. They need to train the staff better and be on top of the kitchen. That being said, I might try them again. Maybe

As soon as we came in the hostesses weren’t friendly and didn’t even ask how many was in the party until we told them. After telling them, they didn’t even ask for a name to put on the wait list until we told them. I overall didn’t understand the purpose of having three people up there when no one was doing anything correctly. Once we were seated, thankfully we had a great server. Our overall meal was the standard Outback meal that was delicious. The only drawback, the unlimited shrimp was way too salty, so unless you need sodium, you may want to stay away from it. However, we all ordered a variety of filets and they all came out in the temperatures we wanted so thankfully our meals were okay :) If you want a standard steak, then this is the place to come. Don’t expect any exceptional, just… standard.

Not on their game today. There was only one waitress for our area, and she was busting her fanny trying to keep up. She did not get our order exactly right, but I didn’t want to complain because she was so busy. She continually had to go get silverware because the hostess didn’t provide it, and she was also busing tables. The food was okay. It used to be better here.

I have visited this outback 6 times now and every time received terrible service. The last visit I waited almost 20 minutes before I had to go ask the hostess if anyone was going to come take our drink order. Then they messed up our order and had to ask for items several times including if we wanted drink refills. Over 30 minutes to get our bill paid. Needless to say will not ever be visiting here again.

I can’t figure this Outback out, I think they must have some unseen challenges. I’ve been here and had great food and great service but more often than not you’ll either get good food or good service, rarely both at the same time. This past visit was a perfect example. Had a great server named Austin. Service– check. Ordered crab-stuffed mushrooms as our appetizer. Food– not check. Gross, greasy mushrooms. Don’t order. As a great Unilocaler said(thanks Jacqueline W) last year, stick to their«bread and butter’ regular menu items. Had a cup of potato soup, it actually was pretty good. There did seem to be a manager on duty that was not so friendly to the wait staff, caught a few snide comments.

Slow service and expensive for what you get! I ordered a full rack of ribs and aussie fries and what was received was 2 small pieces mixed together and a handful of fries that barely filled the plate. When i questioned the amount of food … the answer was that they weight the food and that is how they determine the full rack amount… i thought a full rack was… a FULL Rack… not 2 small ones. To top it all … the place was empty and the food took about 1 hour to be received. The waitress was nice and got me an extra 3 bones piece to make it up but still… i felt i was taken advantage.

Probably the best outback I’ve ever been to! Very clean with super nice and attentive wait staff. Not a long wait on Saturday evening, maybe 15 minutes. My only complaint was that our entrées took slightly longer to come but but overall a winner! Will definitely return!

It’s just so bad. I mean you’re going to Outback Steakhouse, so I guess you know what you’re getting yourself into. As such, the food for what it is, is fine. It’s bad. Like really bad. But it’s outback so you know what you’re in for. Aside from that we had some terrible service. Out table was given away after we had been waiting for a long time and then the manager accused us of being in the wrong. Overall, just a terrible experience. But if you want bad steak at $ 17 that’s over cooked and under seasoned then go for it. You are probably better off buying meat at the grocery store and cooking it yourself.

To give a place a fair chance and to not jump the gun, I usually go back to a place 2 – 3 times(if I think it’s deserving of another shot for whatever reason) and hope its gets better. Well it has been 10 months since I have reviewed this place, and I have been here plenty of times, and gotten the to-go plenty of times. Speaking of the togo, they forgot our dessert once, so we called back, and not only they gave us 2 desserts, but a 25 $ GC. With that being said, my mom came home from being out of town for god knows how long, and she wanted to eat. I remembered about that gift card, and that was a plus. She’s so funny too– when we got there, she demanded a seat at the bar(facing the TVs of course) — to watch the Braves play. She doesn’t even drink, but she seemed more enthused about the game then the 2 drunk olds in front of the TVs. It was a quiet night, and Elizabeth was our server. I know we have had her before– she’s pretty solid. Ordered a lot of stuff for 2 people, and it came out quick, and on point. Hell, we even got our bread(and fast!)! I love the décor here, it is unlike any Outback I have been too(however, I was told they are beginning to renovate a lot of the stores, but I don’t think they will have the windmills in them). The stone and woodwork make it seem like a fancy place. I have noticed though, on pretty busy nights, patience is required, for whatever reason. But if things take a little longer than expected or they forget something, the management here is surely to rectify that. Is this the best steakhouse I have ever been to? No it is not. But for the Outback chain, it’s my favorite, and I am glad its only 2 miles from home. One final note– I keep forgetting this is in Johns Creek, and they have all these dumb laws/tarifs/etc. If you order alcohol here, don’t be surprised to see an extra tax for the booze, just a friendly heads up!
