I’ve been here a few times and the food itself is always great. However, I do know this place has gone really down hill– such as the service and the business itself. It’s usually never busy. I like the option of outdoor seating as well. Their burgers are really delicious and the portion size is pretty decent and they can usually accommodate any special requests you have(which meat do you want– chicken or beef, how you would like your meat cooked, which toppings you like etc). Although this place is very yummy, I feel as if it’s a little over priced compared to traditional burger places such as five guys, cheeseburger bobby’s, etc, but if you don’t mind paying a little extra then this place is a great spot to dine! I will probably return here!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Absolute terrible customer service, and rude employees. Did not even acknowledge that we were standing at the counter. Took forever to get our order, then when we get our burgers they were extremely overcooked. So more waiting for our food. Just ridiculous, and they seriously need new employees that actually want to interact with customers.

Burger was good, the ‘buffalo fries’ are really just fries with spicy season salt. Service was really unenthusiastic. I’m a server myself, to a certain point I understand you aren’t happy to be working but don’t make your guests feel unhappy to be there too! When a burger place doesn’t ask how I want my burger cooked I always assume the worst of their meat.

Got in at 30mins till close and they still served with curtesy and a smile. We just finished packing up our apartment and this was the best burger reward for a long day’s work. Thank you SmashBurger team for the accommodation. We really appreciated it! Great service and quality food!

I didn’t even get a chance to try it. My boyfriend and I were in Alpharetta, and were craving for some burgers. My boyfriend loves this place and I had not gotten the chance to try it. We looked up the closing time, and Google says 10PM. Unilocal says 10PM as well. We get out of the car at 8:56, and an employee rushes to the door and locks it in our face. She tells us «we’re closed!» Ummm, WHAT? Total BS! My boyfriend talks from outside telling the employee that not only online says they close at 10, but THEDOOR had their hours on it too! She said«yeah I know it says 10, but we close at 9». That really pissed us off. Waste of time and gas. I have worked in the restaurant/food industry before, so yeah, I get it if they were closing at 9. Everyone wants to go home. It is rude to go into a restaurant a few minutes before close. BUT if they were closing at 9, good management NEVER allows you to close up early. It’s basic customer service. It is the concept behind it. On top of that, if they really close at 9, change the damn signs!

This place was so disappointing in so many ways. * My mom and I pulled up around lunch on a weekday and didn’t see a single customer through the glass. Not a good sign. * When we walked in, we had to turn sideways and maneuver around a group of three men who were standing and talking loudly right by the door, even though the entire establishment was empty and there’s patio seating. The cashier said nothing to these guys and they stood in the same spot for at least another 15 minutes. * My mom ordered a custom burger(beef patty, spinach, cheddar, tomato and bacon on multigrain), regular fries and a vanilla milkshake. I order a BBQ Bacon & Cheddar burger and he immediately repeats«barbecue» back to me kind of pointedly. It says BBQ, not barbecue, on the menu so I’m not sure why he’s being so forceful about it but maybe saying it out loud helps he remember so whatever. * My mom gets her milkshake and meal, brought about 10 minutes apart, before I get anything I ordered. Why wouldn’t you make both shakes first then get started on the food? * My mom discovers there’s no bacon on her burger as he brings my shake. To his credit, he did bring her some fresh bacon when he brought my food. Too bad he brought me a bacon cheeseburger instead of a BBQ Bacon & Cheddar. The difference? BBQ sauce instead of ketchup, cheddar instead of American and haystack onions instead of pickles and onions. I tell him I ordered the BBQ one and he tells me «No, you ordered the bacon cheeseburger». Really, how is that possible when you specifically corrected my usage of the word BBQ? He says he’ll fix it and then just kind of walks away. * I expected him to just bring out a tray of the missing stuff like he did with my mom’s bacon, but he just brings me a whole new burger instead and then just kind of stands there while I try to figure out if he’s going to take the old burger or not. He didn’t and just walked away. * After all this, the food wasn’t that great. The smash fries were good but a little heavy on the oil. I ate the burger but it was almost like eating nothing, there was just no flavor even with all the stuff piled on it. Honestly, if you’re ever craving a burger just skip over this place and go to Five Guys. It’s more flavorful, the same price or cheaper and you get a hell of a lot more fries.

Wasn’t so great. I absolutely love cheeseburgers and milkshakes and this place just failed to deliver on making either of them very well. Both my dad and I were disappointed in the quality of the burger and the milkshake was super watery and not good at all. The staff wasn’t very nice or attentive either. No specific things ruined this experience — it just wasn’t a good restaurant overall. I never came back. Usually I love burger places like this, but save your money! A Five Guys or Burger-Fi is a million times better than this place.

Always like the burgers, but this location is incredibly slow. They had 2 people working on a Saturday night. Make sure you have time if you’re going here before a movie at Regal across the street.

The 3 stars are real. Smash was exactly 3 stars. Nothing special about it, but it wasn’t bad. I had the Swiss mushroom burger it was not really good. The BBQ bacon burger is good with the thin onion rings. The special olive oil fries wasn’t good. I also tried the sweet potato fries, which was my first time trying sweet potato fries. I don’t think I will like any ones sweet potato fries, nothing against smash. The sweet potato fries were not bad, I just don’t like them like that. However Unilocal hit this right on he button, no big deal 3 stars!

I chose the local flavor burger called Georgia. The burger came topped with bbq sauce, pimento cheese and cole slaw. The beef patty was not thick like most boutique burger places these days. The burger patty was thin but not too thin. The bread was egg bread, it was soft and had a great fresh flavor. The flavors married well together and the burger was a wonderful surprise. I haven’t finished a burger in months and I ate the entire thing. The fries are thin, shoestring thin. Not great actually but that isn’t my thing. They had good texture and seasoning. The staff was pleasant and the setting was modern and comfortable. The prices were fairly typical $ 6.95 for a regular burger alone. I will go back. I joined the email club and hopefully will receive coupons.

Horrible customer service(manager). My burger was average at best. My boyfriend ordered and his order came out wrong. The person that delivered it to our table apologized and said they were going to re make it. After I finished eating(thirty minutes later) my boyfriend went and asked if they forgot about his order. The lady at the counter apologized and asked the manager/cook he said what order. No. No apologies and no burger. We just left, and will not be returning. Cheeseburger Bobbys blows them out of the water anyway.

Wow. WoW. WOW! NEVERAGAIN! Horrible experience. The ISSUE — the short stubby fat Hispanic looking manager with pony tail was the issue. LOL– what a joke. I place my order and when they bring it out, it’s wrong. They bring me a small burger instead of a large burger. It happens. I get it! The guacamole looked old too. When it’s brown, it’s old. I know my guacamole. Trust me! I let them know that it was wrong. They offered to remake my order. I agreed. After 40 minutes of waiting and watching everyone else get there food I go up to the counter and ask if they forgot me. The woman at the front register says I bet they did. She asks the fat stubby guy if they forgot the redue. He says, «What redue?». She tells him the had gotten my order wrong. With an attitude he asks what was wrong with it. At that point I’ve had it. Said my part and was ready to leave. I decide to stop and ask for the manager and turns out the fat stubby feminine ponytail guy was the manager. This guy is a joke. I wanted to beat his ass. Bottom line the bad experience reviews are legit. DONTCOMEHERE!!! Bobby’s Burgers are worth the drive. To stubby feminine Hispanic ponytail manager — YOUSUCK.

First time at a Smashburger and wasn’t too impressed. I would say it’s a slight step above your typical fast food chain(McDonalds, Burger King, etc.) in terms of quality. I guess its direct competitor would be Five Guys. When you order, you can chose between a Regular or Big size burger. Basically, the Big size has meat hanging over the edge. Why not just make the pattie thicker or add another pattie??? I had the Original Smash and it just tasted super processed to me. The fries were pretty stringy and not too impressive either. Service was good, but whatever. Food. Blah. Would I come back? Probably… I have a bunch of coupons to this place so that makes it somewhat worth it. But Five Guys is significantly better than this place. In this area, I’d rather go spend a few more dollars at Bocado Burger an exit down on Old Milton or save a few dollars and get a better tasting Big Mac from the closest McDonald’s.

First time eating here, not a bad experience at all. Greeted by pleasant staff, waited on by friendly employees. We were asked by several folks if we needed anything. The food was very rastee, portions were just enough for the price. We will return and try a different burger style.

My first experience with Smash was an Elite Event there were managers from other locations and states all were on top of things and making sure we were taken care of. I guess there is something to be said when corporate is in the house. Getting out of work early and in need of lunch decided to give this location a try and had a very different experience. * Upon walking in saw there were Far too many tables that were covered in used baskets and debris so grabbed a mostly clean one in front of the window up front. * After receiving the burger found there was no lettuce or tomato on it and went to ask for it not a biggie I guess BUT three people had handled the basket of food at this point. One was a cashier not wearing gloves and handling money at the same time. The burger a Truffle oil, mushroom and swiss was greasy. * First batch of Rosemary(requested) crispy fries came out cold, when this was brought to the cashier’s attention she wanted to take all my food away from me until the next batch fries was made? This did not happen. Did she really think I was going to eat cold fries and wait for new ones while my burger got cold ? * Second batch of fries had almost no seasoning and completely covered in oil. This batch had to be dumped into a new basket and found a pool in the bottom it was spilling onto the table and stopped eating the fries all together(see picture). * When asked if everything was o.k. let them know about the issue with the fries and the first batch was nothing like the first and«yes» she could take them and that the manager needed to be shown the second basket. Personally I wouldn’t order them again complete waste of money due to inconsistency. Unfortunately my stomach can’t handle large amounts of grease and oil so a few minutes after leaving the lunch that was consumed came back up and spent the rest of the evening very uncomfortable.

So my friend got some groupons from Smashburger and we decided to go and use it before it expires. We ordered the following: –Avocado Club –Classic smash –Sweet potato fries –peach milk shakes I thought the avocado club was really good. The avocado and creamy sauce was refreshing to sauces that are on usual burgers. The sweet potato fries were pretty good as well… but not as good as the vortex. The classic smash was okay… nothing that really stood out. I think a five guy burger would be better than the smash. Lastly, the peach milk shakes were pretty gross. It didn’t taste anything like peach but more like just sugar. I wouldn’t order that again. Overall, the food is okay, kinda pricey for what it is though. So I probably won’t come back.

Walk in a they ask if I am a georgia fan when we are wearing FSU clothes before I even order? Strike 1. Tell me they are out of the burger I want and I have to get something else? Strike 2. Offer me sodas on the house to make up for the 2 already strikes? Okay minus 1 strike. I get sick 30 minutes after eating? Strike 2(3) They tell me for the milkshake I have to wait 15 minutes for the ice cream to defrost at 9 pm and when I pay $ 9 for 2 milkshakes that were melted and watery? How do you make haagen dazs ice cream taste bad! Strike 3. Your out. Not going back.

Continue to be unimpressed with this chain. Ordered the chicken avocado sandwich, sweet potato fries and a drink — all for $ 13. I got a tiny sliver of chicken, couple slices of avocado and the fries. What I got wasn’t worth the $ 13. Employees seemed disinterested in working there — overhead one that said«can I go home yet?» — nice.
