This place has gone down hill :(the cooks were the ones that served our food. One coming out with a toothpick in his mouth when he delivered our food?

I would actually give todays visit 3.75 stars if I could. We had a pork specialty pizza. The crust is tasty and airy and they do not skimp some great mozzarella cheese. The fact that their Sunday special was $ 3 off any specialty pizza was a double bonus! We will be back.

OMG, its better than ever! As one of the first customers of Pepperoni’s in Duluth, I can enthusiastically say that it’s the very best, authentic pizza in the area. Anyone familiar with the original owners must have a certain nostalgia for the whimsical décor. But the old tables were yellow with age, and the quality of the food began to slip as they became distracted with other interests. The new owner, Delilah, has put a tremendous amount of her time, talent and energy into restoring the greatness. That includes returning to the original awesome recipes and even adding extra cheese and more generous toppings. And the new décor is clean and comfortable, with sparkling marble countertops and padded leather tables. And for those who enjoy a cold brewski, they’ve added new cold draft taps. So, bottom line, you can’t go wrong with Pepperoni’s Ale House for the most delicious pizza ever!

I was there last Saturday for the first time and we had a blast. We first Ordered an appetizer, wings came out perfect. Nice flavor and crispy. We orders the great white and let me tell you about it. That was the best pizza I had. We ordered the chocolate cake is it was great. Chef keep up the good work we will be back Saturday again.

The waitress was all by herself and did a great job. You can’t ask for a better plate of wings than the ones I got. And I got a Monday night brewing drafty kilt and it was only $ 2.99. This place is a hidden jem. Will continue to come here when I’m on this side of town. Delicious.

I have been coming here for a long time. I know how bad service, environment and food was. I ate here for convent, but my oh my it has changed. The service is out standing. The staff is much friendly and not as focused on other co workers, like in the past. Now the environment there is drastic change. It has changed from a bobble head, baseball bench, dirty look. To a more elegant approach, with a fantastic bar marble top with good amount of chairs. Dining actually has changed a lot as well, from overbearing amount of pictures to a few that a funny cute and work together. Now the food is even better wing are crisp and Juicy, pizza is freshly made you can watch it be made. Overall I’m happy that they mad these changes.

Love the atmosphere of this place! Total family friendly place :) and the food is AMAZING!!! The pizza is delicious!!! The crust has this great garlic bread taste and texture and the cheese pizza is so much cheese my son can build a tower of cheese. And finally… the wings! OMG I would have never thought a pizza place would have melt in your mouth wings!!! They have every type of wing you could want! If you are in Duluth make sure you stop by this place! Food and service are AMAZING!!! Don’t miss it!!!

This place is fantastic. I’m not sure what happened with those two folks down there in the comments, but I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. This place is very family friendly with a wonderful staff. I’ve been here on multiple occasions and I have never been let down by the service. This is one of my favorite places to order pizza from. Their pizzas are the best! Nothing like Pizza Hut or Dominos. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food at very reasonable prices.

First time here. I went in and there was two young girls at the register. ine girl took my order, I asked if small size Mediterranean pizza was $ 7.99, she said yes, but went inside and came back out saying it’s $ 9.24. I asked her why? She said they have a new manager and she said the menus I was looking at is not until next week. if it’s that, most business will not leave the new menus out or will just charge $ 7.99 wth right? Anyways despite the whole whatever, I ordered thinking small, a personal size pizza costing $ 10 will be really good, but no was not. I only had 2 pcs because it was just not good. Yikes. I asked a gentleman sitting on a stool for a togo box, he asks another employee while sitting down, the other employee brings it to him, then WTF he doesn’t get up to give it to me he just reaches out and I had to reach out to get it. And few mins later another table asks for togo box and this dude does the same shit omg are you kidding me? Ok, I understand just by looking at the employees they’re young, but hello new manger! You need to train your employees your store ain’t their friends apt to hang out. They need to work. They get paid to work there! Last, they didn’t say thank you when I was leaving. I looked back, one girl was with a customer but the other girl was just talking to her when she was seeing us leaving. Bad service, so that actually makes the pizza taste bad too.

I love pepperoni’s, this pizza place has been a staple in my pizza life ever since I moved to Duluth in High School. I remember ordering and eating the pizzas at my best friends house down the street from this place. The pizzas were always tasty and the service awesome.

The pizza is ok. It’s good if you’re looking for a small bite. Don’t go at lunch time unless you want to waste 25 minutes because it takes them that long to get you a slice of pizza, put a topping on it and heat it up!

I absolutely Love this place!!! A bit pricey, but overall great for what you pay for. They have the best salads known to man. The small is huge, so if you’re eating alone, I recommend the small salad. The bread is fresh, hot, and tastes amazing. Service is awesome, and the wait time isn’t very long at all!!! I would recommend anyone to eat here, the food is to die for! I’m new to this area, and I just about eat here for my lunch break every chance I get!!!

The family that runs this place is fantastic and customer focused. I think it makes an excellent place for students to hang out on the weekend and after school or after a football game. Very family and community focused. Having said that — I wasn’t a fan of the pizza or the atmosphere. I came here looking for an upscale gourmet pizza(think Grimaldi’s) and was a little disappointed. Not because they did a bad job — just because it wasn’t the place I needed to be in that particular night. As long as you know what to expect, you’ll be happy here.

If you ever have a pizza party, I recommend getting a BFP(Big Football Pizza) since it will definitely fill up your guests. A huge 30″ one topping pizza will cost you only $ 35. I’m convinced the best part of Pepperoni’s is the cheese that they use. Whatever mix they use, it’s almost heavenly and will make your taste buds dance. If you were to take a bite of Pepperoni’s and then of a chain place, you will taste the difference. I like to stick to a pepperoni topping pizza since it will allow the cheese to shine through. Simple and delicious.

«When I was younger, I swallowed a lot of aggression… along with a lot of pizzas!!» — Stripes(1981) I certainly love a good pizza pie. Load it up with all kinds of meat and I am a big fan. But that your typical meat pizza and multiply that by about 10 and that gives you Pepperoni’s Meat Lover. 3 of us split a large version of this pie — and man that’s a lot of meat(that’s what she said). Packed(and I mean packed) with pepperoni, italian sausage, ground beef(well-seasoned), ham and crunchy, crisp bacon. It was certainly filling. This is the kind of joint where you order at the counter and grab a seat at one of their funky tables — each one decorated(they are glass topped filled with tchotchkes) with a different theme — Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Nascar, etc. You serve yourself your drinks as well. The other folks in our group simply ordered slices, and our wandering server(can you call him that? I think he might have been the owner) finally found us(they need numbers). Once our pizza arrived, the 3 of us dug in. The pizza crust was pretty good, as was the meat. But the sauce was unimpressive and the pizza needed more cheese. I would eat here again as it is better than some pizza joints, but it was nothing to write home about. Oddly, the slices of our pizza were smaller than the slices the others at the table bought(by the slice). I wish one of them had bought the meat lover slice to see if it was the same amount of meat per slice… weird. They did have Oreo cheesecake in the case for dessert, but I was too full. Next time.

It was a cold, rainy Friday night. My husband and I arrived home from work exhausted. We like to stay home on Friday nights but neither of us had the energy to do any cooking. We grabbed our 8 year old son and headed out the door guided by my #Scoutmob app. Pepperoni’s has always been a favorite of ours and I felt like I won the lottery when I saw they were offering 50% off up to $ 15 for supper. The owner is extremely picky about his ingredients and feels that people will pay more for them. I guess he has revisited that by offering the 50% off. Here is one piece of advice I can suggest for # UnilocalERS and the restaurant, offer 2 amounts of cheese per pizza. The regular amount is much too much for me. I always ask for light cheese but still pay the regular price. If there was an add on for extra cheese then I would pay the fair amount of money and come back more often. As a recovering NYer I pride myself on knowing great pizza. Pepperoni’s has great pizza. It’s not NY, It’s not Chicago, it’s something very different but in all the right ways. We love the salads here. We got the Greek salad on this trip, they forgot the olives and added beets(maybe they mixed up our order?) but the greens and the homemade dressing was fresh and delish! Feel confident branching out to chicken wings, pastas, marsalas, garlic bread and beers; ALL of the food is really delicious!

The crust on the pizza is absolutely fantastic! It’s soft and has lots of butter… I mean, flavor. And you should know that one slice totally filled me up. The lunch rush was crazy. I am pretty sure they are violating a fire code with the amount of tables and chairs they have crammed into the place. But the tables themselves are really interesting– each one has it’s own theme(ours was Rock ‘n Roll, we also saw a Ga Tech themed table, etc) with lots of memorabilia under a glass top. Definitely a family atmosphere. I got the lunch special which included a garden salad. I would have enjoyed the salad more if it wasn’t piled onto a tiny plate. Any one move with the fork forced some salad to fall off. I had the raspberry vinaigrette, which was almost completely olive oil and made my salad inedible. Overall this is close to my office and the pizza is excellent, so I’m sure I’ll be back.
