They have a lot of things you’ll find you need last minute. The souvenir area is a little messy, but they have a good selection of shirts.

It’s a convenience store with a snack bar that closes way too early.
There was an accident on the one road that leads out of Kiawah and I was hangry.
3:30 — 4 o’clock and the snack bar is closed?
I settled for a honey bun and bottled water.
Staffed by the mumbling, walking dead. Not that that’s surprising. No points taken off for that.
But really, what are the choices?

Seattle, WA
If you need beer, bait and chicken this is the place to go. Only «normal» store on kiawah. Lots of cheaply made souvenirs, fishing supplies and 87 000 tips of chips. It’s fine. Does the trick.

You have to, I mean really have to, try their fried chicken and fries… Amazing!!! Not healthy, but who cares! A trip to Kiawah isn’t complete without some General Store Chicken. Been going to Kiawah since 1980 and I crave that chicken if I am away too long!
