Mingo Point Oyster Roast and Bar-B-Que

This was a traditional down home bbq buffet. The food was very good and you could get through the lines very efficiently. The kids activities were not much. Do not attend this for the kids activities. Go simply for the food and the oyster bar. The price was a bit high. Although some seating was under cover this has all seating outside. Be sure you want to eat outside!

Do this!!! Well worth the $ 50 pp. high quality bbq all you can eat buffet. Live music. Great time! Get there at 6 to get a jump on the crowd.

By far one of the best nights on Kiawah island!
We had no clue what we were getting ourselves into but the minute we arrived the sun was setting and the view from the pavilion was spectacular.
Upon entering the pavilion the hostess will welcome you and give you your tickets to enter. They have plenty of seating in the pavilion with fans and also tons of picnic tables close to water. They have the following:
Live music
Several local vendors
Face painting
Nature center with an alligator! Super cute for kids.
2 full bars
Food:
Corn bread
Rice
Steaks
Roasted oysters (amazing!)
Pulled pork (one of my favorite)
Corn on the cob
Ribs
Baked beans
Mac n cheese
Chicken
Hotdogs for kids
Dessert
I thought all the food was delicious!
They had several waiters. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. You plenty of open space for the kids to run around.
If you are looking for a great time with family then definitely come here! Very relaxing and fun! Make sure to bring your bug spray just in case.

Great family night out. Monday nights during the summer, on Kiawah island. Oyster Roast plus BBQ, steak, chicken, desserts, music, etc. Well worth it!
