Although the family that owns this dive is very friendly, they must be accustomed to much worse conditions in the country that they came from, to think that what they are offering the public is acceptable! The stairs leading up to our room were once made of wood and have gaping holes in them! We had to carry our luggage, praying that we wouldn’t fall through the rotted wood on our way up. There were drug deals being made in the parking lot DURINGTHEDAY. There are people who seem to live here, as we saw a half naked, very large man, laying amongst all of his belongings in his room, at the bottom of the stairs. He liked that we could see him, his curtains were wide open and he was looking back at us. The walls are paper thin. I heard the TV blasting 3 rooms down from ours. Speaking of the TV, it was horrible. It didn’t work and had to be replaced with a different one… an older one, but it worked. The room was clean, but it smelled of all the hanging tree air fresheners they put in there. The towels are large washcloths and the soap was crumbly and old. The toilet acted like it wasn’t going to flush, but finally did after spinning for what seems like minutes. The hot water only lasts for one shower and the drains are clogged, so you can stand in the filth of others. Ugh. The sheets are rough, the blankets have cigarette holes in them and the pillows gave my face a rash. You think I’m kidding, but I’m not. The only good thing about this place is location. It’s near all you could need. We didnt walk right out because we went during a Bristol race weekend and had no other choice but to stay as all the other hotels were booked. I would have given it 0 stars but it wouldnt let me. NEVER, EVER, AGAIN!
