I have tried Luke’s several times over a couple of years. Based on the rave reviews that so many have given Luke’s.
I have to say that for the price I think there are better pizza places in JC — it is not that the pizza;s aren’t decent but I really think that the price is higher then it should be and service has been uneven.
This is mainly a takeout place so if you are looking for a place to hang out and enjoy it is not the best choice.

Have eaten here before and pizza is great. BUT Don’t order for delivery because you will be disappointed. Our pizza arrived stiff cold, the garlic knots had no olive oil like they usually do.
We are going to stay away for awhile.

Yes! We finally found great pizza in Jonesborough/Johnson City. Having recently moved to the Area we tried several places. We really like Luke’s pizza. It has a nice bubbly crust, good sauce & lots of toppings.

First time eating Luke’s Pizza, my dad took me and my kids and husband while we were in town visiting. I believe we have found our go to pizza joint for every visit! My husband and I got the ham and pineapple with onions and my mouth is still watering 2 hours later. The sauce is not overwhelming and the crust is thin but not crispy. We absolutely loved it. Thanks guys! So you again soon

We always visit Luke’s when we are in JC! We love the pizza here and they have a decent draft beer selection. The patio is really nice in the summer.
It is one of our favorite places to meet up with friends. Always very clean ad the servers are friendly.

Food is pretty good it is very fast and the price isn’t bad at all. I used to go when I lived in the area. Be careful around lunch time because like any restaurant that is when the crowd comes.

Luke’s is good. I’ve said it before, we are spoiled with some really good pizza in Johnson City. Small, but decent atmosphere, little patio action for the warmer weather. We’ve enjoyed some pie and cold beer here. Almost every time it’s been solid. Once was slow, weird, and kinda seemed like day-old pizza, but by far the majority of the time I’ve been happy with Luke’s.

I’ve been around a bit and know good pizza when it’s in my mouth. Luke’s does it for sure!
At first I was trepidatious as Luke’s uses a conveyor belt oven rather than one that has a door. This usually is a solid indicator that pizza place isn’t up to snuff. Such is not the case with luke’s. The bread of the pies is good and doughy and you can taste their ingredients.
The staff is friendly and it is not uncommon to see the owner, Luke himself, working behind the counter.
Combine this with their specials which are $ 1 cheese slices on Tuesday and their $ 20 for 2 pies w/2 toppings weekend deal, they are best bang for your buck too.
My only real complaint is that they don’t stock garlic powder and oregano to add to your pie after the fact. This is only minor and I mean it when I say, this place is the best pizza spot in Johnson City.

Overpriced. I’ve had better pizza from the frozen food isle of the grocery store. They were very stingy on the toppings and the crust was soggy. Toppings fell off as you ate, we will not be back.
