What can I say. It was a room. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. And overall it was quiet. It is a very busy hotel which was shocking considering it is not seen from the interstate and it is overshadowed by the ValuPlace hotel that sits behind it. The bath products are a product of China. I always look to see where a hotel gets it’s bath products from. These were kind of mysteriously made. Not enough towels in a room for four. However if you like whirlpools the tub is one. All room entrances for this hotel are exterior entrances which is always of great concern. Also, there are no elevators. Yes, it’s up a flight of stairs with your stuff. There’s a pool in the middle of the parking lot. Wierd. Also a BBQ grill near pool which tells me they have a lot of people that stay a long time. The hotel lobby was nearly kept and the breakfast area sizable. I chose not to eat breakfast but my friend did and said it was a nice spread. We Pricelined this hotel. Spendier than I usually pay for a Quality Inn but it was clean and quiet so I’m not complaining.

The room was not ready at checkin time and when I returned no one was in the office. I made reservations online for a king sized bed and was offered two doubles instead. No apology, but I did get to cancel my reservation. I will not be returning. Looked a little run down. Not the experience I expect from a business in this area

First I went to REDROOFINN where I had a reservation but the check in lady was really rude, so I told her. Please cancel my reservation and I walked out. So I found the Quality Inn behind the Cracker Barrel restaurant… and I was very pleased. The lady checking us in Rhonda was training a new employee Amy, so it took a little while but nothing major. They did a great job. I was given my King Size Deluxe Room with flat screen TV, ample amount of towels and pillows. it also has free wifi and the outdoor pool was located right outside our room across from the parking lot. The called my room to make sure I was happy with it. which I am. It is very clean. The bed, linen and towels very clean. The bed very large and comfortable and the bathroom very clean. what more could you ask for!!! I would stay here again! I highly recommend to all traveling on I-26 in the Johnson City, Kingston TN area. you will very pleased. also they have a full hot breakfast in the am starting at 6am… can’t wait…

Overall, this hotel did the trick. It was clean, quiet, and the rooms have clearly been recently the updated. The only comment regarding the rooms is that the beds are FIRM(a friend of ours was staying in another room and he reported the same thing). There was a stain on the carpet, I didn’t think much of it, but my husband thought it was blood. I liked the room more than my husband. The complementary breakfast was excellent: multiple hot offerings. The outdoor pool area looked really nice, it was a shame we visited during the winter! The only real shortcoming is the staff. It took forever to check in. I realize we got there during the switch from day to night staff, but we pre-paid(booked via Priceline) – we just needed a room key! I will say, both staff members were exceedingly kind and apologetic for the delay. Then, when we checked out, the woman at the front desk was rude. She told me how booking through the hotel would give me a better rate than Priceline. I told her how much I paid and she retorted, «well usually you get a better rate through the hotel, but you still have to pay membership for Priceline!» Obviously she doesn’t understand how the website works(it’s not membership based). Regardless, the cattiness was uncalled for. I was perfectly polite and had pre-paid in full. I’d consider staying again, but I’d also evaluate the other options in the immediate area.
