Every time I go past my favorite winery(Texas Hills) I always stop in here and must(RE-SAMPLE) every one of their Jerkeys! The sell some really cute signs in here many of which I have purchased heheh. I really recommend their salsa and dip mixes! They are great and affordable. When you walk in its really quaintly decorated and the ladies and gents that work there are super friendly! I love that there is a map behind the counter where all the people around the world who love Whittingtons Jerky are from! A lot of Texas families send it off to their kin folk abroad or soldiers and I love that. Even the bathroom has chalkboard paint so you can sign your name away! They also sell candles from the comfort candle company and I always get the leather one! I get so many compliments on it and it has lasted me forever!

I never followed up on my initial review of their goodies. The physical location is small and quaint — there are a lot of offerings for their jerky(of course) and other things such as jellies, jams, and salsas. They even have a table dedicated to jewelry(awesome!). The pork jerky is really good and you even have a choice of purchasing jerky sticks from their refrigerated counter display case or in vacuum sealed packs(except for the jerky — that’s the only one I didn’t see in a sealed pack). Also — even if you don’t need to use the bathroom, just go anyway! It’s behind the cash register. Why? Because the walls are chalkboard and there’s a box of sidewalk chalk and an eraser you can mess around with in there! I don’t know how many messages I’ve written on my visits… LOL :(\_(\ *:(=’ :’) :* *.(,(«)(»)°.*‘”

$ 31.00 a pound for their jerkies.(slab, peppered, turkey, pork) Very cute house with super cute roaming chickens roaming in the front. This place did a great job decorating inside. They have free samples as well!(their jerkies and their fredericksburg salsas) I recommend the peach salsa yum! The counter lady was SUPERSUPER sweet with a HUGE smile. The beef is from free roaming grass fed cows(a total plus) There is also really cute(what looked to be homemade) jewelry, sodas, jams, and pickled things. They had prepackaged jerky or you can buy them by the sticks out of the case. I would recommend this cute place to anyone passing it by. Super cute place!
