They make stuffed pizza on Thursday. Man it’s outstanding!

I am a pizza snob. I judge everything I eat from the pizza I used to get in Brooklyn NY. This is some of the best I have tasted. Best pizza in the Johnstown area, bar none. The sandwiches are good too, and everything is priced at a good value. The owners are super-friendly and treat every customer like family. This is a must stop if you are in the Johnstown area.

Excellent pizza. A very clean taste with a crust almost pastry-like. Delivery times have been way late a few times recently. Ranch(a pizza staple for me) is sub-par and they’ve forgotten it on occasion. Still a fan due to caliber and uniqueness of pie!

Being from out of town we trusted our mealtime to the Unilocal community. Sorry. Don’t know if they are shills or just used to canned pizza, but this was not a good experience. Nice people, poor food. Makes you wonder if they ever eat out and realize that their own food isn’t up to par.

This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. There is something in the grease that makes you want to eat it two or three slices at a time, and eat it all until there is none left. As Emily(below) has said, this will always be my favorite pizza place, and will always set the benchmark for all other pizza’s that I’ve tried. If you love santos, then you will need to try Falls Church’s(Virginia) Ledo’s pizza(barbeque chicken) pizza. Hands down probably #2 in my book. Actually Ledo’s pizza is ranked a top pizza place in America… I suppose they have yet to of tried Santos!

My family is from this area so whenever we make the 3 hour drive from Harrisburg… we have to get some Santo’s. It is the best pizza in all of Johnstown. Sometimes we get it to go and sometimes we eat it there. It is always better there. Staff & owners are over the top friendly & accommodating. When the family visits us from Johnstown– Santo’s makes the pizza but doesn’t bake it — boxes it and gives baking instructions to my Gram and she brings it with her. The best pizza around– can’t go wrong with Santo’s!

I went to Pitt-Johnston for four years and unfortunately was only introduced to Santos Pizza my last year there. I live in Pittsburgh and am currently planning a day trip just to get a pie. As boring as it sounds, the deep dish cheese pizza(a little under baked) is all you need. Sometimes I will get banana peppers and peperoni but the pizza is so doughy and thick that you really don’t need to add to it. I haven’t ordered take out because nothing beats when it’s fresh from the over. The sauce is super flavorful but the dough is what makes it. It’s small and family owned– I patron it more so because of that. I would make this a destination if you’re passing Johnstown or if you live there. It’s just as good the next day too, straight from the fridge. It was a great college memory and a great hangover cure!

As good as a pizza you will find in Johnstown. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to go sit down and eat, because seating is limited. Takeout or delivery. The pizza is great, thin, but cooked just right. Meatball is my favorite topping, and I really haven’t strayed from that too much. Stromboli’s are tasty also.
