Used to have great Phillys. Stopped by the other day craving a great cheesesteak. Yuck. No flavor. Their prices have gone up and quality down. What happened? New management? New owners? Taking this one off the list.

My husband and I had food to go last night. We ordered two hot dogs with everything, chicken tenders and their fried catfish. The hotdogs had ketchup on them! What a way to ruin a hotdog. All very sloppy and just not good. Served with two slices of white bread(weird). He ordered the fried catfish to try something different. Gross! We eat plenty of seafood to know what’s good and bad. It was bad. Like, old, Not stored properly or just plain bad! It had an extremely fishy taste. It looked like popcorn shrimp. Tiny cut up fish that were battered and fried. He asked the staff member«is it like fish and chips?»(Wondering the size of the catfish and how it was prepared) she didn’t even know what«fish and chips» were. The chicken tenders looked normal and my nephew enjoyed them. So I give 2 stars. :) 1 for my well enjoyed cold Dr. Pepper and 1 for the chicken tenders my nephew ate. Do not order the fried catfish, you will be disappointed or might possibly get sick. If you order a hotdog, be aware they put ketchup on it.

Disgusting. Pretty much sums it up. One reviewer left a comment how they came here because«sub dock was packed» Duh! Doesn’t that tell you how bad the food here is? I went through the drive thru. Ordered a basic hamburger and fries. I was absolutely terrified to even bite into it. The damned thing was gray. l! No grill marks, no way to tell if it were fried or microwaved or put on a campfire. The damned thing looked menacing. I threw it out. I didn’t return it just or bite into it. The fries. Ugh the fries. They were literally dripping with grease. They were hard and They were so foul looking. I should have taken pics but I was ticked off I wasted money on this junk. Yeah I ordered it. After a couple years of passing this place. I wasn’t brave enough to eat it. If you have a cast iron stomach and are immune to this type of food then bon appetite! Otherwise, go to sub dock. They aren’t the greatest but at least their food is somewhat edible.

Stopped by here one day when we decided to try it when we saw that Subdock was packed. Food was ok. Kids get a free meal which consists of fries and 4 chicken nuggets. A very nice touch. Place looked decent inside.

Baba’s used to be great. Management must have changed recently because the staff is all new and not very knowledgeable. We started out trying the drive-thru…no one answered so we went inside. It still took about 15 minutes to get a sandwich and two hot dogs. Perhaps there was a language barrier but it was difficult to order a 2 hot dog combo, even though it is a menu item with a combo number. We got the food home to find out the hot dogs were cold, buns were stale and they didn’t include the pop. We’ll never go back and certainly don’t recommend Baba’s to anyone we like. Just not what it used to be.

Came to Baba’s on Easter being that half the restaurants were closed and craving a burger. I’ve had the lemonade here which tastes great but have never had the food. Went thru the drive-thru and it was hard to know when to order because I could hardly hear the person on the other side because the intercom’s volume was low. They even got my simple order wrong because I had a hard time understanding them. It took a long time to get my food as I waited for my order in park for about 7 – 10 minutes and the woman working did not seem happy to be there. I had the double cheeseburger and a small order of cheese fries. The prices are great, pretty inexpensive. The food tastes decent nothing great. I think a little maintenance and repair on this place with go far.

They don’t take their time to prepare the food with care. Other chains that i have visited had much better food.

Haven’t mustered up the courage to get the food, but the lemonade is AWESOME! My favorite is the Blue Raspberry.

This place has great lemonade and steaks– do NOT expect a 5 star restaurant and then complain about the atmosphere. It’s fast food, and in my opinion, I think the gyro’s are great and LOVELOVE the fries!

This was a first for me, I go by this place everyday, and they always have signs out front, hamburger and fries, $ 1.00, hot dog and fries, $ 1.00, Chicken strips and fries, $ 1.00, well last night they had a sign 10 pieces of chicken and fries, no not a dollar, but $ 5.00. First let my say I never knew chickens could come in small sizes, I can see how they caught him, he was too little to run away, The meat was OK but I thought it had a little bit of a fish taste, but sometimes you get that in the places that sell a lot of fish products, the fries were good The lady at the drive thru was very pleasant, it takes awhile to get your food, but they have a sign that says sorry for the delay but we cook all our food fresh, which is nice, knowing it did not sit under a heat lamp for hours. Not a place to take your lady on a first date, if your trying to make a lasting first impression anyway.

Decided to go in after hearing good things from my co workers. The inside and outside didn’t look too inviting. From the big signs that covered most of the windows to the loud rap music the kitchen staff was trying to get the cashier to play, this place felt like a fish/rib joint that I would find in the southside/westside part of the city. I ended up with a gyro and fries($ 5.59) and a lemonade($ 2.1020 oz.) to go. While they weren’t skimpy with the gyro meat and fries, it wasn’t anything to rave about. The meat was dry but, that could of been a result of sitting in the car for a ½ hour. The lemonade was great and was actually freshly squeezed. There’s a guy in the back whose only job is to prepare the lemonade drinks. All in all, if you’re uncomfortable with getting your food in a ghetto atmosphere, then skip this place.
