China cook never fails! Everything I’ve ever ordered has met or exceeded my expectations. They never have a problem substituting ingredients when asked, portion sizes are more than enough, and flavor is consistent (no grainy salt taste). I’m a fan of the lunch/​dinner specials with the lo mein instead of fried rice, hot and sour soup is the BEST in town, and they will make any dish spicy! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Delivery A+ customer service A+ quality /​quantity A+ and price A+. Do yourself a favor and order here, they deserve it!

Good take out !! Ordered delivery and came super fast and great prices. I had Egg Foo Young very good. Husband had Kung Pow Chicken, he said it could have been hotter but he likes everything super hot he said it was hot enough for the faint of heart. It’s our new — to-​go Chinese place.

I am very disappointed in this review. I have been ordering from this place for a year now based on reviews, honestly I’ve never had a complaint until now, I ordered a pretty big order of food: 2 chicken broccoli, 1 triple delight, general tso’s chicken and shrimp low mein. They have always been on point expect this weekend I came to fine a hunch or little insects in the chicken broccoli’s and the triple delight and general tso’s chicken. Every dish I ordered with broccoli had these bugs it was so disgusting especially since we started eating before we noticed this.
I called to complain the best day about the food and the manager was very polite but none the less these ifs are si disgusting and the fact that we all ate them is sickening… Please double check your food orders.

We usually order the family meal B it’s a ton of food. But when we have ppl over its just the right amount. We always replace the bean curd for something else and so far we have not been disappointed. Fantastic food. I have no complaints

I’ve ordered from here several times within the last 2 years. They are great! The food is always delicious and the customer service is awesome! I just placed and order for delivery, and I had to pay with two separate cards. The guy who took my order was so nice and understanding. He was patient and did not rush me or sound upset. I can’t wait for my yummy food to get here!!!

I ordered about 3 times here, and I will say hands down its delicious food! There portions are more then enough. I love there fried rice, magolian beef (very soft meat) This is now my go to Chinese take out place. Very friendly staff, very fast. A++

The food is really good and when you have it delivered it arrives hot and fresh. The prices are fair and you get a lot for what you pay for. We ordered one small dinner and one larger and a crab Rangoon and with delivery it was $ 30. A little bit steep on delivery charges, they’re should be free delivery on orders over 25 in my own opinion.

New to the Joliet area and this is hands down my go-​to Chinese place. Looks unassuming in a strip center, but don’t let that turn you away.
I ordered take out with my girlfriend a few days ago and it was amazing. I had the General Tso chicken dinner special, she had mushroom egg foo yung and we both loved it. The portion is sized for 2 meals honestly, and as good as it was fresh, we both swore that it was somehow even better the next day as leftovers.
Also, the service is super friendly and accommodating. The kitchen made my girlfriend’s egg foo yung with just mushroom instead of all the vegetables as a special request with no hesitation. Will definitely be returning every time I get in the mood for Chinese.

Orange chicken or beef n broccoli are two of the delicious lunch specials … It’s so nice to find a Chinese menu that is delicious and that I can eat every day and not get sick of or go broke buying.

Ordered from here a few times. The last time is why I wish I could give this place 0 stars. There was a dead fly in my food. Ever since this ordeal. I don’t even eat Chinese food anymore. Totally disgusted by the look of it, who knows what’s hiding in your food. Be aware.

Great food but what really makes this place for me is the excellent service. You will have a hard time finding better service. They are always super polite and generous and if they make a mistake they always make it right. Today I called and they didn’t make it to the phone right away. They called me back no less than 2 min later. I will keep coming back.

This place is so good.
I’m always skeptical with ordering chinese food, but man oh man is this place delicious.
I’ve gotten their orange chicken with their fried rice and it was sooooo good. I’ve also had their house fried rice and I’m so in love with it. Try their chicken egg rolls, they’re to die for! I also love their soup! I love their potstickers too! Ask for them deep fried if possible! The owner loves me enough to deep fry them so that they come out extra crispy!
Very cheap prices for wholesome foods! They deliver! So if you’re hungry and don’t feel like leaving the house, this place is just for you!

Recently moved to the area. Had a Chinese food craving and decided to try it out. The appearance is nice along with the customer service but I was not impressed with the food. Over priced, bland, and not very big portions compared to other Chinese restaurants. A notch above panda express, but barely. Won’t be coming back.

Just ordered for the first time and I am very satisfied. I’ve found my new Chinese place! Crab rangoon is awesome, mongolian beef is fantastic, and general tso’s chicken is great! Soooo happy I ordered from them.

The BF and I had this delivered for dinner tonight. He had the orange chicken and I had the szechuan chicken. We both substituted the chicken fried rice for the lo mein and we also had egg rolls. Although the wait was over an hour and fifteen minutes the food was delivered hot. The food doesn’t need any extra seasoning on it and to be honest it maybe a bit over seasoned for some people. The price was just over 22.00 total.

So I was blown away at the simplicity, freshness & inexpensive food coming from this location! I have found a new Chinese cuisine go-​to & it’s not in Chicago anymore! Their shrimp & broccoli was perfection; they add sesame oil to the sauce & their white rice isn’t a sticky mush! Thank you future hippie souled in-​law!!!; D

Fresh vegetables and light and flavorful sauces made this new addition to our neighborhood a must repeat location. Service was unobtrusive and the server seemed knowledgeable about the menu offerings.
We chose one of the family style menu suggestions and started with excellent hot and sour soup and an assortment of appetizers. The bbq pork was tender and moist, the fried items light and crisp. The meal that followed did not disappoint. Everything was cooked fresh, vegetables retained an appealing snap. We sampled chicken, shrimp, beef and pork, all were tasty. Sauces didn’t overpower the ingredients but added just the right amount of additional flavor to every dish.
Good prices combined with great food make China Cooks a place we will return to again and again.

My wife and I order at least once a week. I like to think a Chinese delivery/​take out is as good as their egg rolls– you mess that up, forget it. I’m not saying they make their own egg rolls– most places don’t– but their egg rolls are good enough to eat without sweet and sour sauce (happened one day when I forgot to pack w/​leftovers the next day). As with any place, you’ll have your favorites and those you don’t care for– I like their Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao anything.
The Hot and Sour soup is easily the best in the suburbs.
