I’ve got better food at McDonalds the road is beyond mediocre they don’t bother to wash any of the silverware that they used for dispensing it they let kids run around the buffet and play with all the food I guess people in Joliet have no class and see this place is great I guess that’s why they call Julie at the home of the Moon Pies and inbreeding there are so many better restaurants in Joliet I’m trying this place for the first and last time right now your Chink don’t speak English they serve food that comes from a discount grocery chain Chinese about this place is the lady taking your money never ever again

Went here a few months back and meant to review but got busy. Anyway this place was the worst restraint i have ever been to. First the food wasn’t very good. Of the Chinese Buffet’s I’ve been too it wasn’t the worst but probably in the bottom 10. Second they don’t serve ANYTHING. We had to get our own cups and drinks. Last, and worst, they ignored and laughed at us. There were maybe 3 other tables filled. We were sat as far away from them as we could be. They did not ONCE pick up our used plates so they sat their our ENTIRE meal. My husband actually heard a staff member laugh at him as he walked by to get his cup and drink. This was THE worst dining experience i have EVER had. I would recommend to all the people who gave this place a even OK review to try ANY other Chinese Buffet.

Pretty good buffet. went in there to service their fire extinguishers and ate lunch. the food is pretty darn good. Always fresh and hot. Owner is very friendly. I recommend this buffet you should be pretty satisfied. Mike from Certified Fire Equipment. Was not to expensive. I have eaten at many chinese buffets due to my job and this one was above average.

I have no idea how this place stays open! Food is cold, seems to have sat for hours. Place is very dirty & cold. Health Department needs to shut this place down! STAYAWAY!

The food was cold, and had been sitting for hours(they didn’t even bother to stir it to make it look like it hadn’t been sitting). I tried it again a few months after that incident, and again, cold/stale food. I got a refund, I’ll never go back. They’re VERY overpriced for a buffet, especially of this standard

Don’t go here. First red flag, they make you pay in advance. Very medidoce selection. The place isn’t even clean! There was food on the floor that went ignored. Horrible! Wouldn’t go back if it was free.

Friend of mine and I make a tradition of going to Chinese buffets when we travel. This one was okay, I liked unique variety like squid, crawfish, octopus… But all of the food was luke warm, sometimes cool. Soft serve ice cream was really icy

there sure was a good variety of food to eat, and plenty of side dishes and deserts, but I went at 4;00 and the food was kind of dry, I think it had sat too long, there were only three of us in the place, by the time I left a lot of people had come in, I think I will try again about 5;30 maybe the food will be a little fresher, and I can give a better review of this place, $ 10.99 for all you can eat is a pretty good price.

Joliet is not known for its fine cuisine, but I sometimes wonder if the whole town isn’t some bizarre performance art piece, or perhaps a science experiment to determine how low people will go to fill their bellies. Super China Buffet is definitely the winner of the contest to serve the most revolting swill in the most revolting environment, yet still draw enough customers to stay afloat. How do they do it? Is it the mysterious brown gooey sauce they slather on every dish? Is it the total lack of ambiance? Is it the unexplainable chunks of what-the-heck floating amidst what might be compost? Super China Buffet will challenge the most iron stomach, and perhaps it’s this challenge that brings the bravest of Joliet’s residents through its doors. Whatever the secret, let’s hope it doesn’t get out. Bring a barf bag in case the bathroom is full.
