Very clean and very secure. I was amazed when I walked in. The customer service reps go above and beyond which is rare these days. Mike was on top of everything and answered all my questions plus informed me of other things I wouldn’t have even thought about. Hands down the best storage place I’ve seen. I immediately signed up for a unit. They have someone that actually lives in the building. Each unit comes with an alarm and they do walk throughs multiple times a day. It’s a fantastic storage place and the price is very reasonable!

I“ve been using ESS in Joliet for about 10 months. There were a couple of issues. There was a leak in the roof. I notified them, and they had a roofer out the next day to fix it. My insurance claim (their company) went well, and I was fully compensated for my loss. Another time, their snowplow had blocked my storage unit in. They had the guy come out the next day and move that snow again.
Since there were issues at all, I couldn’t give them five stars, but the way they handled issues makes up for it quite a bit.

I was here (and still come here) for a storage auction. If thats the reason you are here, then youre gonna wait a while. And wait some more. The auctioneer they use is SLOOOOOOOOOW, and repetitive, and long winded. Other than that, the place is clean, becuase they have guys like me cleaning the lockers out for them after we win an auction!
