What a great experience from reservations to the actual on track ride along. The crew and driver were awesome. We brought a young man who is paralyzed below the waist and the crew hooked him up. Thank you Chicagoland Speedway and the Mario experience. Five Stars!

My sister in law wanted to do a ride alone in an Indy car for her birthday, so we all went for a ride too. Having driven a stock car at the Chicagoland Speedway I didn’t think riding in an indy car would be all that great. I was wrong, it was pretty cool. Just like the driving experience you get to park in the infield and the wait for your number to be called. Then you get a helmet and climb into an indy car. I’m not really sure why, but they give you a little useless steering wheel. To pretend you’re driving? I don’t know. You only go around the track 3 times, which isn’t very much. At 190 mph it is over pretty quick. It’s fun, but it’s pricey for what you get. If you have some burning a hole in your pocket and you want to ride an indy car; go for it. If you’re just kinda interested then skip it and go for the driving experience.

I called to schedule my living social deal which I bought a while back. The next time period they’re scheduling for is early September.(It’s early July now.) If you book a date and cancel, there’s a $ 50 charge. If it’s within 30 days, you can’t change it, you just lose the money. They did tell me they needed my number in case they had to reschedule– to which I replied«so you can change it, but I can’t?» I ended up cancelling my reservation prior to it going thru, just because I have no idea what I’ll be doing in September at this point.
