We were driving cross-country and needed a place to stay. Joliet, IL happened to be our stop. The town is really kitschy, but the hotel was just what we needed: two clean beds, free breakfast, and enough privacy for us to get some sleep. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Got checked in rather late after being broke down at the International dealer next door. Front desk help was quite helpful, got us checked in right away and let us know of a hotel with a shuttle in case we needed more than 1 night(as they are fully booked for the entire weekend here). Room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. Went to the pool and spa. Enjoyed a few laps in the pool then soaked in the spa. That was great until a couple decided to get in and turned on the whirlpool jets, at which time an overpowering odor of chlorine arose. That was my cue to get out. Breakfast this morning was pretty good. Typical free breakfast. And even though the«breakfast lady» neglected to show up for work today, the manager was doing her best to keep up. A great experience this trip, I would recommend this place when on trips through here. (On a side note: there are several restaurants nearby to go to)

on an update, they did refund me my 200 dollars they charge me for no reason, but only after over a week of telephone calls. I had to finally talk to the manager at another Quality Inn, who was extremely apologetic. The manager at this particular Quality Inn, though, never apologized. I would again avoid this hotel

One star is too many. This hotel stinks… no it really smells! Coffee maker missing filter drawer. Only decaf 4 bags of trash in the stairwell all night long. Save your $ 75 and stay in your car!
