The whole atmosphere is fantastic honestly. The food was great and the service was amazing. They have many different options to choose from and give you a great amount of time to eat between each course. Overall I really enjoyed my experience!

We had a great time. Our waitress, I believe her name was Royauna, was phenomenal even though she was having bad allergies. We got the flavored lemonades, I had peach and hubby had strawberry, both were very yummy. I had the grilled lobster, shrimp, salmon — it was cooked to perfection! My husband had the You Pick Trio with extra steak. The steak was the best we had tasted in Joliet! Cooked perfect too as we like medium rare — I had a bite too! The only downside was the Parm Chicken Alfredo. There was barely any sauce and it wasn’t as creamy as my husband prefers. So, I normally would have given only four stars because of that but our service was great. Also, get the strawberry cheesecake was awesome!

Went there last night for dinner. First off the wait was too long and they had issues with the paging system which had set off all the pagers all at once. Second, we sat there for ten minutes nobody came up to us what so ever, No drinks or bread. Nothing. The salads have gotten smaller and we’re not fresh. The seafood was not that great either, lobster was tough and had that fishy smell. I had the ultimate feast which was nasty and just not worth the money. The crab leg came missing parts of it and tasted straight up awful. The only reason I even gave it one star is for the server she was the only good experience at the place. Oh and it also got my girlfriend sick and she threw up right after we got home. Thanks.

This place has gone downhill in the 13 years that we have been going to this location. Red Lobster used to be our favorite go-to restaurant. Crappy service, long waits for servers and food after being seated, and food not prepared well. They couldn’t even get my husband’s order correct tonight after our long wait. When they put his order in for the correct fish taco and it was taking so long a second time, they eventually just packed his dinner to go since we already had the bill to pay. We had to wait till our dinner was served just to get the warm biscuits because they were still in the oven the whole time. The mussels had obviously been sitting under the hot lamps for quite some time because the bread was so dried out and so hard that you couldn’t even cut it with a knife after dipping it in the broth. The muscles on the top layer were dried and shriveled too. The quality of the food is mediocre which is pretty sad because I used to love Red Lobster more than any other restaurant. The waiter had sent the manager over to our table saying that we requested to talk to him, but we never did request that. We did tell him that the order was messed up and that the mussels were dry and he took off the price of the mussels from our tab. I wasn’t looking for a freebie but I was very disappointed from the lack of service to the mediocre food. Everything that we ate tonight was over-salted very heavily. The silverware was gross and dirty looking too. You can wrap it in a nice cloth white napkin, but you need to make sure it is clean and spot free for it to look nice. This was about the 4th or 5th time that we have noticed a steady decline in service, cleanliness, and food quality, which is why I was prompted to finally write a poor review. We are used to going as a family to this restaurant location, and spending about $ 150 per meal. Tonight it was just my husband myself and my son. Tonight was the last night that we will be visiting this location. We cannot afford to continue to patronize a restaurant that does not take quality and service as a priority.

Rachel and Keith were awesome… however, I was not pleased with my food. I had a pick two, crab legs and grilled shrimp, asparagus and rice. My asparagus was perfect and delicious. My crab legs must have been sitting because I could barely crack them and the meat would not come out in one lump. My shrimp were tasty but cold.

Red lobster use to be a great dinner with the family or your significant other after a long day of work or even lunch with a group of co workers. The biscuits are always on point buttery and delicious an oh so soft. The waiters and servers very attentive but I must say the food isn’t really worth the price the shrimp usually has been soaked in the garlic sauce which is full of butter. The size portion you get in meat is depended on how much your wiling to spend. Red lobster has become a place for boring people who don’t care what they spend or taste as long as the service is good. I can make buttery and garlicky foods at home for less the price. Save your money and your health.

Ordered crab Alfredo. Had it Cajun style, was excellent. Started by calling ahead on Friday night, first Friday night in Lenten season. They told me 10 mins wait, could not guarantee until we arrived. got there the place was standing room only. Believe it or not, it was only 5 mins wait time. Food was hot, good. Waitress was awesome(Kelsey). Great experience. Still can not get over how fast we sat, have waited an hour before with the lobby full like it was tonight. Great job seating as promised. I was a skeptic but now a.believer. Call ahead…

This place is always good or bad based on your server. Red lobster is a mockery of fresh seafood. Service is always horrible. They act as if me wanting more biscuits is coming out of their paycheck. I wrote in a complaint to their corporate office and was promised a gift card in the mail. I’m assuming it got«lost«. I’m not upset at all about that. It is the lack of concern the managers have for their staff and it shows. Need new management.

Avoid this location. I came here 2 times for dinner and both times got terrible service. Had to ask for everything… Even the free biscuits! Waitress had an excuse for everything like it wasn’t her fault when we had nothing on our table the biscuits were being cooked but everyone else got biscuits with no issues… Just terrible service. Food was good service not so much

Service was fast and staff was wonderful… food was poorly made and not worth the price. I ordered the shrimp tacos and seafood dip. The chips were to salty to eat, the dip was filled with grease. The tacos were nothing special, I’ve had much better.

Fantastic service! Yolanda H was our waitress and she was very friendly, down to earth, and just overall a quick and helpful server. Thus location has been great everytime I’ve visited and I’m overall impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the food is always hot and delicious. Endless shrimp is always a great time of year!

As far as a place to go for inexpensive seafood, I think this isn’t that bad. There are plenty of 100 $+ places we go to get lobster or Ahi tuna. But we really haven’t had a bad experience yet at Red Lobster. Knock on wood, we go here at least once a month because our son really likes it. We always order the Ultimate Feast. It comes with shrimp scampi, lobster tail, fried shrimp, crab legs, and a side. I really like the lobster mashed potatoes, or the asparagus. The oysters are a hit or miss, but if they don’t look fresh, we will send them back, and they will always take them off the bill. We have pretty much always had a nice server, but you can’t win them all. Not that bad for living in the suburbs, their are not that many choices for seafood, unless you want to take a drive.

Large portions, good food, good service — no complaints here. It has been quite a while since we have been to Red Lobster, like years. We used to be regulars at the Bloomington, MN location but we have moved a few times and things have changed. Long story short, we’ll be back.

Service by Natasha was phenomenal and my boyfriends shrimp linguine was excellent but my salmon New Orleans was overcooked and when the manager came by he was rather rude stating«you know it’s blackened right?» Yeah I used to work in a seafood place. I love blackened fish. It’s supposed to not be completely hard and charred on one side though.

Awesome food! Best chicken Alfredo ever! Better then Olive Garden! Took my boo here for Father’s Day & it was his 1st time, he definitely wants to come back soon! The lobster pizza appetizer was great too! And h can’t forget the cheddar biscuits that are the bomb!!!

I order to go from here a lot… Lately, they’ve been consistently screwing up my order… Tonight’s screw up… Parmesan crusted chicken… What I got was a lump of chicken… No parm crust… No flavor… And under cooked in a pile of broccoli… Almost zero noodles… Perhaps it’s time to inspect the order more closely… For what they charge for a low class seafood place, you could at least make the items correctly… Never again.

First server we had was not in a good mood I told him it was my birthday and said nothing and walked away. The manager on duty switched us out to a server who enjoys working here and wants us to have a good experience. The manager has checked on us multiple times making our visit exactly how we expected it to be. Shrimp trio is phenomenal as always!

My fiancée and I came here for dinner while in the suburbs. This red lobster was really nice. The wait was like 15mims but i always recommend making a reservation. Our waiter was great and checked on us often. It was nice to see red lobster revamped the menu. We had the shrimp lettuce wrap. It was so good and we also ordered the lobster fest. Which was good.

I work right nearby and really enjoy having a place to get lunch that doesn’t involve golden arches or freaky fast food. This red lobster is big, clean and the staff is very attentive. The food is not world class seafood, but it is very good. I would like to give this a 3.5 stars because that is more accurate.
