I’m looking for a new mattress. Being that my hand-me-down queen may need to go to the garbage heap soon, and my best friend just got a Sleep Number bed, Di and I decided to check them out at the Louis Joliet Mall after some bra and purse shopping… (and no, I don’t mind it one bit) I wanted to get a feel for one. Though I knew I wasn’t going to buy one at that time(and I didn’t), if they were as good as I’ve heard, it would be one of my next investments… So we talked to Jim, the salesman who helped us out(great guy and not pushy), and we told him what was going on… The first thing he did was ask us what we were looking for, then he put us on the beds. Yeah…pretty much, that’s all he had to do. Diana and I almost fell asleep right there, which is the only time we’d be laying down in bed together before we get hitched… And These beds are AWESOME. They lay you down, do their little computer thing, let you watch a screen to show you where the pressure on your body was before and after they adjusted the bed, and everything. You feel like you’re floating on a cloud. We both didn’t want to get off. But being that I had to go to work, and I’m sure the Sleep Number corporation doesn’t want any customer to sleep in their mall store over night, we had to get up… Jim did show us some different ways we could pay for the bed: totally financed at 0% for so many months, part cash down, etc. I am a total 100% cash or nothing guy, so as I said, I didn’t buy at that time(though Diana was sorta wanting me to change my mind)… He was alright with that and gave me a couple quotes about some different models. He also didn’t try to upgrade me to a model I didn’t need. In fact, Jim was adamantly against it! Not something you see too often from a salesman… If you’re looking for a new mattress, get a Sleep Number… from Jim… at Louis Joliet Mall. It’s Chiropractor and Pauly approved… (BTW, my Sleep Number is 30)
