It is important to know if you are at a corporate store or an authorized retailer. We initially walked into the T-Mobile store in Shorewood, IL and was outright lied to regarding the availability of the new iPhone. We spent three hours in that store the first day, then an hour the second day– to achieve nothing. The manager, «No» was his actual name, is an outright liar. To call the staff there incompetent would be giving them too much credit. Stores like this affect the T-Mobile brand and should be closed. That said, when I called T-Mobile directly and explained the situation, a rep named Tanya took complete care of me. She directed me to the store for this review, which is in the Louis Joliet Mall, and all of the notes and direction from our conversation were there for Robert K, our sales rep, to view. Robert took the time to explain everything, ensured everything was done and got us on our way as new T-Mobile customers. I did not see a Unilocal location for the miserable location in Shorewood. I wish there was. But the same manager has the Rt. 52 location and the Morris location. DONOTGETANYTHINGFROMTHOSELOCATIONS. Stick to the corporate owned location in the mall and you will do just fine.
