Located in a very new looking strip mall, which kinda stood out from its dirty ghetto surroundings. Inside was very clean, almost to the point that a 5 second ruling wouldn’t be needed if I ever dropped anything on the floor. Prices were pretty cheap. $ 5.00 for a steak burrito, which turned out to be about 8 inches long, what a great deal! It was good and boy did they pack it to the gills with all sorts of things. Never had a burrito that had some much filling inside. Pork sopes @ $ 2.75 weren’t too bad either. Talk about getting your moneys worth! They also had an extensive pizza listing, which I’ve never seen at a Mexican food joint before. As for the rating to give Taqueria Don Jose, I’m rather conflicted. Sure, it didn’t cost much to leave with a satisfied stomach, I’m probably judging this place harshly primarily based on its surrounding area and that it could of been better. I wish Unilocal had half star templates in its rating system as I would give this place 3.5 stars.
