This was first time ever to a Cheddars. The food was good and for the price the quantity was excellent. Nice clean place. But way under staffed and service was extremely slooooow. The wait was terrible. Not worth the wait. Do not recommend and not goin back. Others have told of same experience.

Disappointed in tonights meal and service. I took 2 guests with me tonight. We were expecting the great honey covered croissants that we had at the same location a year ago. I had also told my daughter how great the Key West shrimp and chicken was, since I had it not long ago in Lansing, Michigan(which WAS a good experience). So our waitress is really lacking in any enthusiasm or personality, it seems. Okay, so I am here for the food, not a warm bubbly personality… the croissants were drowned in butter; made worse by the fact that they were not fully cooked on the inside. They were gummy. My food(the rack of ribs) was barely above room temperature… that includes the baked potato(which showed obvious signs of being capable of melting butter some time before it arrived at our table). My daughter’s expression left no doubt that she was less than impressed with her meal. I looked at it and noticed that the bourbon sauce was missing. Without that it was nothing but dry chicken topped with shrimp, setting atop dry rice. I flagged the waitress down only to here her say«oh, yeah, we ran out of that earlier today… guess I should have told you». You think? I know that Cheddars is a modestly priced restaurant; still I expect: 1) my waitress to act like she is glad that we are there, inform us of any changes to the menu, and make an effort to compensate for any errors on their part(i.e., I really shouldn’t have paid for that gummy bread, but she should have offered to remove it from the bill). 2) The food to be reasonably hot when it arrives at the table. I visit the area 2 – 3 times yearly to see family and friends. I really doubt that I will return. I certainly will not be the one to suggest it again in the future. Hope someone from their staff. a manager, perhaps, will read this and take positive corrective actions so that no other customers will have the same«less than stellar» experience.

I’ve never been a big fan of Cheddar’s but we’ve been on a kick of giving places ‘one more chance’. The food is just so-so overall. The spinach and artichoke dip was pretty good as well as the onion rings. The chicken stripes just weren’t all that, but I will say that there were plenty on the plate. I feel like we’ve given Cheddar’s plenty of chances now.

Service was fast. Served at the bar where we ordered two Titos Teas. Drink was supposed to have Grand Mariner in it. When I ask if we could have some added, the bartender said that he put RUM in it, «which is the same» he said. I educated him on the fine spirits and he corrected himself. Food was very average.

Good cheap stuff! So I understand some some friends in the«business» that Cheddars is a «made to order» restaurant which keeps their prices low vs. frozen entrees. Honestly I am never disappointed by a visit to Cheddars, I know what to expect from this place I was introduced to back in GA100 years ago. I never actively seek this place as a meal destination yet am consistently satisfied by the meals and pricing offered here. Even the drink prices are weirdly affordable. What are they doing right here? Apparently lots of things. Typically go for the fish tacos with a Sam Adams seasonal. Service is typically fast and good. Good place for groups as the menu is diverse. Ironically few Cheese themed dishes!

Love Cheddar’s. Excellent burger and onion rings. My new favorite drink is the Cheddar’s Painkiller.

The atmosphere at Cheddar’s is really nice. The food is pretty darn good as well. The Wisconsin cheese bites might just be the best appetizer I have ever ordered from anywhere. The bacon cheeseburger was good(not great). The buffalo chicken wrap was very tasty and HUGE. The loaded baked potato wasn’t loaded with anything but oily butter and runny cheese, but that was the only part of our meal that was undesirable. The service was good this time around but it usually is okay at lunch. Dinner service sucks. I’ll definitely visit again.

So far, this was one of the worst dining experiences in Jonesboro. The service was slow and non attentive, the food was definitely frozen and microwaved. The appearance of the building makes it seem like the experience will be slightly upscale, couldn’t be further from the truth. We had a good sampling of kids and adult dishes. There were large chunks of brown lettuce in the salad, the kids burger was overcooked, the fish tacos were undercooked and I didn’t finish them. I watched an army of wait staff walk by for 30 minutes waiting for a drink refill. In a word awful.

When this restaurant first opened my wife and I declared this is our favorite place to eat. As time passed we have noticed that servers are herd to keep working here. Our trips began to become less frequent as the quality of food became less than desirable. We were there last month and when we walked in there were several empty tables and booths to sit. The hostess said it would be about 10 minutes before we could be seated!!! As we turned to leave a waiter said he could seat us and did. The waitress was not happy that she has to serve someone else and it was apparent, no eye contact no refills and best of all no TIP.

Have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. I have never had to wait to be seated although that is probably more luck than anything. I usually order the sirloin steak, but their chicken alfredo is very good. Love the honey butter croissants. The service has always been excellent and the restaurant has always been clean – even the bathrooms. This is my number one pick when I get to call the restaurant.

My wife and I have been here several times for lunch. We have always gotten good service and good food. It will cost you less or about the same as fast food and it is so much better

Our second visit — the onion ring appetizer is enormous and tasty. The salads are fresh and the fried chicken was crisp and juicy. Place was clean — service was good — pricing was very reasonable.

Decent place. Depending on the day you go, the food may be quick or you may wait until the next full moon. Avoid the red beans and rice; they don’t do them right. The fish dishes are pretty good.

My wife and I ate here a few days ago… Wife had some kind of chicken dish with shrimp on top, it wasn’t bad but nothing at all to remember. I had a burger it was just basic and nothing special, I also ordered the red beans and rice because it’s one of my favorite foods, cheddars version is terrible I mean by far the worse I have ever tried, I couldn’t even finish my tiny 2 $ bowl of it… how this type of food can be served is beyond me. Also all of the waitresses have white shirts and a long tie, I am not a fan of that at all… I’ll never go back

Well we decided to give it one more try and wasn’t disappointed. Just like the last three times it was a bad experience and we are done. I ordered lunch special steak and salad medium rare. It came out very well done and took 45 mins to get there. The place wasn’t that full so not sure what took so long. Shaunez was good server and attentive, but it didn’t make up for the food.

I have tried this place several times, I have never had a good experience. Either the food is cold, or the service sucks. Tonight everything was going well, the place was firing on all cylinders, which apparently knocked a hair off one of the cooks hair and directly into my Key West Chicken and Shrimp. So this one doesn’t get another chance. I’m done. The manager took my entrée off the ticket, but I had already sampled someone’s hair. Too little, too late.

Yes, it’s another cookie cutter franchise restaurant. I’m usually not a fan of them but by the end of my visit I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I found the inside to be extremely clean, nicely decorated, and more upscale in appearance than the low prices would indicate. Regarding the prices, by northern standards, the prices are downright unbelievable. $ 5 for appetizers? $ 5 for hamburgers? $ 8 for entries? It made me wonder, are they using real meat? It would seem so, because my catfish tasted fine and everything else I tried was fine also. By the way, the entire staff gets bonus points for being really friendly too.

First off, why am I deducting a star? Lack of organization. We were told it would be 20 minutes till we were seated. After 40 we were annoyed, & after an hour I asked if they’d like to give me a more accurate assessment of our wait time. That’s when they asked for our buzzer number, then our name. She said we’d been called… and then seated. That’s right: someone apparently called our name instead of ringing the notification buzzer, then some other classy people told her they were us, got seated, & left us standing there none-the-wiser. Somehow the hostesses didn’t look at the buzzer number or anything. So that was incredibly irritating. Otherwise? The food was marvelous! I had the shepherd’s pie, which had good thick gravy, lots of veggies, & great potatoes(a little dry, but nothing to complain about, given the gravy). My husband had the grown-up grilled cheese, which is essentially a pot roast sandwich with lots of melted cheese. Super delicious! We also had the appetizer sampler with nachos, chicken tenders & fried cheese. All three were good, but the nachos were my favorite. There’s real strawberry lemonade, which is a major plus. The server was friendly, & if we didn’t see her often, I’m chalking that up to this place being new & constantly packed. Best of all was the price: the total was $ 33 for us & our 5 year old son.
