Demo’s is great. This is exactly what you want for bbq – clean restaurant, easy ordering, and most importantly, excellent food. The ribs, the meats, the sandwiches, and the sides are all fantastic. You won’t be disappointed stopping here. If you had a bad experience here, you should give them another try. If you have never been, you definitely owe it to yourself to go.

Ribs are best I’ve had! Chciken, brisket, and pulled pork are ok. Will definitely keep coming back for the ribs!

My wife and I moved from Little Rock, AR to West Palm Beach, FL2 years ago. This was our first trip back home and we were jones ing for some chu. Her parents live in eastern AR, so our best/closest spot was Demo’s(should have drove to Memphis). Pulling up the place looked legit. They had a statue of a large pig out front. Walking in the place didn’t look bad. Although I should have known when looking at menu that there were no burnt ends. I ordered the two meat platter with pulled pork and beef brisket, with baked beans and slaw. Sounds good right. WRONG. I was told my food would be ready at the next window. I took three steps and there it was. :/. Still holding out hope I set down with their two sauces. Drowned both to try and bring moisture to the brisket with no success. This barbque had no smoke, and taste like a salt block. So my recommendation is stay away from order taker with Kentucky hat. He has no southern hospitality, and try and smoke your own at home. You will find better taste with that and store bought sauce. Yours truly, Still hungry bar b que fan.

Not great. The employees seemed very sad and not very friendly. Their slaw is identical to KFCs. So, they either went there and brought it, or they purchased the Top Secret recipe online. Either way, it wasn’t bad, but certainly isn’t original. The ribs were okay if you like mustard marinated ribs. The chopped brisket had a good flavor, but a ton of grease. Their BBQ sauce was also not very original or tasty. If this is the best BBQ in Jonesboro, as other reviewers have said, then save your BBQ tasting for somewhere that knows how to do.

Best BBQ sauce around. Quick service and my order is always right. A true Jonesboro establishment.

Cute place. We all got pulled pork sandwiches and the meat was tender and moist. The bbq sauce recipes were more vinegary than I’m used to, but not bad. Honestly, the meat was so good I could have gone without the bbq. I got the potato salad and it was very delicious and creamy. No changing station in the bathroom but it was a nice, clean place to stop on our road trip!

Killer ribs, killer fries, and killer beans. Passing thru and this is a must stop. Service was great and wish this place was closer to home as I would eat there everyday.

Definitely on point in every aspect. Good at atmosphere and a very good selection of sauces. Have ate there many times and always will hit them up for fast BBQ. Cramp seating, but very very good food!

Average at best. I hear this place was good at one point but I really can’t praise it for any of the brisket, pulled pork, or the chicken. I know there are many definitions of good BBQ but I’d bet the dry and tasteless meat we had here doesn’t fall under any of them. The potato salad tasted store bought and the fries were previously frozen, neither homemade. Of the two sauces, the spicy was the only tolerable one. Again, this place had rave reviews and perhaps they just had an off day, it was about 1pm when we went, but I’d be hard pressed to wavy to go back.

Best BBQ! Been going to Demos for 10yrs and haven’t found better BBQ in the southland, probably the next closest is Central BBQ in midtown Memphis. When I want BBQ, esp’lly RIBS then Demos is the only place in town

The pork is succulent and smoky! Beans a plenty and tasty crunchy slaw! Sweet tea make ya wanna slap yo momma! I always sit by my friends daughters pics when she was a year old chomping on a rib bone! Yeah Mia! It’s not the hole in the wall it was when Demo owned it, but the food quality remains consistent! A must try!

The service was good… but that brisket tho. I’m still thinking about it three days later. I had the pulled pork which was good as well… but I’m madly in love with the brisket. I like the sauce they use as well. The next time I’m in Jonesboro I’ll be back here for another two brisket sandwiches!

Pulled pork sandwich was decent. Baked beans were better, and the sweet tea was just right.

I’m not exaggerating — I think that was the very best BBQ I’ve had in the South. Moist and soft BBQ that fell off the bone. Even the baked beans were tasty. Friendly management and workers. If I lived in Jonesboro, I’d go there a lot! :)

Demos has been a favorite of mine for years. I now travel Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado as a regional sales rep. The BBQ is very poor to say the least in this region. I always look forward to the best tender ribs you can find and the great sweet tea. I also posted a pic of the ribs for 2 plate that is my favorite. And the price is very reasonable.

My wife and I moved to SoCal from Jonesboro a few years ago. People out here just don’t know what good BBQ is. When we come back to Jonesboro to visit, this is ALWAYS one of the first stops. I go for the BBQ nachos and my wife usually goes for a pork sandwich or ribs. Frankly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The ½ chickens are amazing as are the beef brisket sandwiches. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have huge bone-in pork chops that are incredible! As for sides, their fries are always crispy and piping hot and their baked beans are the best you will ever have. You have to wash it down with their sweet tea and end your meal with a slice of pecan pie. I can’t wait to visit Jonesboro again!
