Dairy Queen

This place is a joke … sat in line for over an hour. Finally we called to find out what was going on and they stated their line was closed for the night. yet had cars wrapped around the building. Little snotty brat kids working, no management on site … insanely horrible customer service. The place is dirty on the inside as well, never … again.

I don’t really know how to describe this place. It’s sort of like travelling back in time to an era when things were simpler. Much, much simpler. I should have expected it considering how rural the area is, but the clientele all seemed detached from reality. It was like they didn’t have much awareness of what was going on around them or like there were other people to be courteous to. There were also literally two employees working on a Saturday night, so the line was very long and the drive-​thru was not any better.
On top of it all, this DQ is half fast-​food restaurant and half ice cream shop. The people who were there at 7:00 on a Saturday were seriously eating an entire meal — dinner and dessert — at DQ. It was very odd to see the locals flock to DQ for their weekly outing. I probably sound pretentious, but that just doesn’t happen where I live.
Anyway, if you’re going to run in and grab a blizzard and run out, then you’ll be safe. But I wouldn’t want to spend a second longer here than I’d have to. Feeling like I’m in a parallel universe isn’t my idea of a good time, it just gives me a headache.
PS their ice cream cake selection also looked dismal.
