Comments: «Hey Dave, your burger wasn’t that hot»… This was our first visit to Wendy’s in the US, and before i took that first bite, I was actually kinda excited to be honest. The marketing really hit a right note for me — the whole Old Fashioned Hamburgers mixed with my burger actually being called Hot ‘N Juicy had me salivating… However, the reality of Dave’s burger was «Luke-​Warm ‘N Tasteless». The beef itself was very rubbery and lacked flavour, the extras tasted like they’d been sitting in tubs in the freezer for 10 days, and the addition of mayo instead of mustard brought the marks down even further. Sorry Wendy’s, full marks for your marketing team but maybe get some new teenage chefs.
