Braum’s

Always good and always clean. They have the best milk at the best price. Besides their ice cream the burgers are very good.

Place looks clean good. It like that you can put your licking of cheese on the hamburger. As for the hamburgers they are ok but not great. Great ice creams, excellent shakes.

Growing up in Oklahoma, Braum’s Ice Cream Store was a constant in my life. I remember going in on a hot summer night w/​my family and getting a scoop of ice cream or sharing a banana split my brothers. Now that I live in KC this is one of the things I miss most and visit every time I make the trip south to OK. And although my preferences of what I order have changed, the environment is exactly how I remember!
When you walk into any of the Braum’s you will see the same sight. Tables full of people enjoying a slice of time with one another, enjoying their cone or sundae as well as each others company.
Don’t mistake this place for JUST an ice cream shop they have an entire little store area where you can buy your necessities and they have some of the best products you will find anywhere.
The thing about Braum’s is that that everything is fresh and they only have stores they can reach within a few hours to ensure this quality is not compromised. Although I would love to have a store in my current hometown of KC I greatly appreciate the fact they won’t sacrifice quality for profit.
Next time you find yourself traveling South on 35 to Wichita, South on 169 to Independence, KS or South on 71 to Joplin, stop off at Braum’s to stretch your legs and enjoy scoop of Americana. You’ll be glad you did, I guarantee!
