It took me a while but I finally made it to the Orange Leaf! I love the modern décor and it’s so cool to be able to serve yourself. I must say, the ice cream is just not as flavorful as I would like for it to be. It was a little bit bland. But the peanut butter cups, gummy bears, and graham cracker crumbs I put on top definitely made up for it!

my go-to place for a frozen treat. The best part is you can alleviate the guilt with an abundance of fresh fruit — raspberries, blackberries mmmm

An ice cream buffet. too cool. They have tons of toppings and flavors. Shake’s cookie dough is better though

I’m not sure why, but Orange Leaf just doesn’t do it for me. I love FroYo but for some reason OL’s flavors are lacking. Either their mixes are off, or they are not made quite like other places because they just don’t taste as good as other places I’ve had. With that said, it is the only place in Joplin that I know of where you can put your own toppings on the yogurt. The inside is very trendy with neat chairs and a tile wall. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside.

Excellent! My son loves being able to build his own creation. The selection and presentation are top notch.

for a long time I have went to the location in Kansas city and LOVEd it. When I heard it came to joplin I was ecstatic! The whole idea of getting a wig bowl and making your own mix of flavors and toppings is great! The fro-yo is delish and the topping selections are great too!

I was so excited to see this Orange Leaf open in Joplin, after experiencing Orange Leaf in nearby Springfield last year. Their yogurt and toppings did not disappoint. Very friendly service, too! I am always a little stunned when I hear people say it’s expensive because I don’t feel like I hold back at all and my serving is usually between $ 2.50 and $ 3, but the couple in front of my husband and I spent $ 18 for 2 adults and a child, so I guess it can get a little pricey depending on your selections. My least favorite part(I wouldn’t exactly call it a complaint) about Orange Leaf in general is that it is very noisy and often crowded, especially on weekends. This particular Orange Leaf location is very tiny which just makes the noise level more obnoxious(sorry but it does). But it’s still a great treat and much healthier than some other dessert options, so I like it a lot and I hope it does great in Joplin!

Definitely a different take on dessert! The Orange Leaf in Joplin just opened last weekend and it was packed. No seats left and the line was out the door. It was neat though. There were about 15 or so different flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from. You pick the bowl size(also has waffle bowls) and then start picking your flavors. There is a per-ounce charge on the yogurt and toppings. Me and three friends each got a small size and filled it up and added toppings. The total came out to be about $ 20.00. So definitely not a ‘cheap’ dessert but definitely a great new option in Joplin’s ‘land of custard places’. Seriously, there are four of them within about 5 miles. Just be sure to watch out for little urchins trying to swipe a taste of the yogurt with their fingers. Don’t pick those flavors.
