Food was fantastic just wish they had a little more space. Definitely will go back

Wow very good food very different just what we were looking for on vacation from Georgia. I hope I get the chance to come back. Wish we had places like this near us. Very nice people too. Thanks so much for fresh food.

Wonderful little place. Great food, locally sourced. Good coffee! Beet hollandaise sauce on the veggie benny was excellent. Carrot fries are a must. Yum!

My favorite food spot in Joplin. Awesome atmosphere. Great burritos, bennies, and specials. Even if there is a long line, they make a point to get you seated after you order and get food made in timely delicious fashion. Worth a visit or five.

A million flavors in one entrée is to much for me. The lady who takes our order is always rude. The guy I assume is the owner is always very nice though.

I little on the pricey side given no sides come with your order. Ha ing said that, who you do order is high quality & tastes incredible.

One of our Joplin favorites. The food is simply great. We have always enjoyed any menu item that we have tried.

So good! I had never been here before, but I saw that people loved it and I didn’t know what to expect. The outside does not match the inside. The look of the menu did not match how delicious everything was. That’s not a criticism; I think it makes the place more interesting! The burrito, Bennys, and coffee were all delicious. The Benny had an entire avocado on it! I wish we had something like this where I live.

Oh, man! What a quirky hole in the wall but it’s just a great place to go for brunch, especially if you like eggs benedict. I didn’t know if I did or not, but I found out these are great.

If you like to stand up and eat it’s a great place. The place is too small for the demand of customers. I think about 20 people probably are able to eat here at a time. I’ve tried to eat here three times in the last month and was unable to. The food is great, if you want comfort and convenience this not the place for you.

This place is good, it hit the spot and I was hungry. One downside to some… is 90% of their meals include pork/bacon. I don’t mind but I wish they had chicken or other meats. Since it’s so good. I’ll be coming here again because it’s THATGOOD! Good job guy!

So delicious and fresh! It is a fun little place that gave us a great breakfast on our stop in Joplin. We had the breakfast burrito and the cuban benny which were both fantastic. It is a small place so the quarters are a little tight but everyone is so friendly. It is a little off the highway but well worth the 5 mile drive!

Perfect rating on everything and the best bloody Mary in the world! Its smoky and tasty! I highly reccomend their staple the Cuban Benny! Its a breakfast twist on a Cuban sandwich and to die for. The atmosphere is tight and cozy. You may have to wait for a table if you hit peak hours. But its worth the wait! I’ll be back again and again!

Clarity– I feel as though it is my duty to add some clarity to these reviews… They have a very limited menu. Only breakfast burritos and benedicts with a few pancake options… NO basic bacon and egg breakfast. I am a traditionalist and need my basics in the morning even if they are offered on the side of the«main» course. If you are looking for a basic breakfast, sadly, this is not your place:/. On the other hand, the restaurant area is nice and cozy and comfortable. The staff is very nice as well! I ended up getting a burrito highly modified with bacon and eggs only. Although it was very tasty, the grease was heavy and pooled at the bottom on my plate. I had to use a napkin to soak it up. Overall, nothing as to what I was expecting, but a nice diner with a greasy spoon touch.

Delicious and unique. Definitely have a big city feel to the flavors and creations. The Cuban b and the Benny Harper were very good. Poached eggs were amazing. Nice mimosa too!

Nice, friendly staff. Very good food. Gluten free options. I am gluten free and i usually order the Nutella buckwheat crepes but I had crepes with pears last time(I think it was a special that day) and they were awesome. I have had the Benny Harper(eggs Benedict)(gf– with polenta instead of the English muffin) and it was SO good! The only reason I took off a star is because there is not much seating.

This is definitely the breakfast spot to visit in Joplin. All the food falls under the categories of either organic, local, and fresh. They pretty much specialize in either making burritos or eggs benedicts. I ordered the garden benedict with ham. we received our food in 13 minutes, and I was shocked since they had close to a full house. All the vegetables were crisp and fresh, especially the asparagus. My egg was cooked a little longer than I like, but it was still good. Although it wasn’t too big of a problem, it took me a while to get use to the beet hollandaise sauce they use. It had the acidity of a tomato, and it kinda bothered my esophagus, but that’s more of a personal thing. Overall, I’d say eat here.

My friend and I ate at the Bruncheonette yesterday and it was one of the best meals I have ever had! Joplin is the halfway point for us to meet and, after reading the great reviews, we decided to try this place. I ordered the Farmhouse sandwich with carrot fries. The next time we meet, we will eat there again!

For years we lamented the lack of a great brunch place in Joplin. Sure, there are solid mom and pop spots for standard fare. Bruncheonette came along and was something different– just what Joplin needed. Their menu is simple, broken into breakfast(breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, etc), brunch(eggs Benedict, Nutella crepes, poutine, etc) and lunch(sandwiches). At any point during the day two of those menus are available. Come early and get the breakfast and brunch menus. Get there a bit later like we tend to do and you choose between the brunch and lunch menus. All are excellent. There are standouts from every menu. The biscuits and gravy might be the best in town. My kids go nuts for the poutine, a slightly different take, done with country chorizo gravy, cheese, and a poached egg, over crispy fries. Their lunch sandwiches are delicious creations unlike anything else in town. The real thing to get your hands on at the Bruncheonette is the daily feature. I know, I know– at a lot of places the«special» is anything but. Here, though every single day they’re a work of art. This crew loves to create. They love food. To be honest, we eat there nearly every weekend we’re in town and have never had anything that we didn’t love. Stop in, be patient(they’re popular and get a bit busy) and enjoy. You won’t be sorry.

We were on a road trip and we stopped here for lunch. It had good reviews, so I was excited to try it, It is definitely a gem. WAIT/SETTING: We got there around lunch time and it was crowded. There were no tables available. We had to wait less then 10 minutes to get a table, so it wasn’t that bad. This place is small, but they pack a good amount of tables in there. It is small, but didn’t feel cramped to me. They also have parking on both sides of the restaurant, with entrances to inside on both sides. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Everyone we came into contact at here was very friendly. The cashier, cooks, etc… all were very friendly! Friendliness can sometimes outweigh bad food, but luckily this place had awesome food… FOOD: Some people have said that the menu isn’t that big, BUT I think it is perfect and not small. Sometimes having a ridiculously large menu option is overwhelming. PLUS, the food is usually fresher. I know this place must have fresh food because of the menu, crowd and delicious taste! It was hard to choose because everything looked so good. I decided to get the«Benny Harper’ — it is one of their eggs benedict. It was delicious! I did trade out the tomatoes, for asparagus, yummy yummy. It was asparagus, bacon and avocado with the egg and english muffin. My husband ordered the«Cuban» Eggs Benedict and loved it. My daughter(2) had the fruit plate and loved it as well. We also ordered a side of fries… yummy yummy. Everything was yummy! Overall, great place! If I’m in the area I will definitely go back. Check it out!
