Ricochet is a darling vintage shop located in downtown Joshua Tree that is brimming with beautiful vintage pieces — ideal for any desert diva or desert dude. In between browsing through Ricochet’s well curated collection of unique colorful finds — I toe tapped to timeless 60’s and 70’s rock and chatted with the amazing woman who helps run Ricochet. I learned through her — that there was an empowering women’s music festival — called Desert Divas taking place later on that day in Ricochet’s spacious outdoor area. I was so glad that I was able to stay for it — because the festival not only brought important awareness to the non-profit — Unity Home Hotline Domestic Violence Shelter(such an unbelievable resource for women!) — but it also helped highlight the unique music loving community of the Joshua Tree area. I felt abundantly special — sitting on a lawn chair — while watching soulful women sing and strum guitar — beneath the setting desert sun. Trust.

My new favorite vintage shop in Joshua Tree. I came here two weeks ago and met one of the girls here named Anna Christie. She was making an interesting piece of jewelry that we started talking about. I can appreciate handmade since I own/make handmade trinkets.(Le Modern Trinket) so Anna Christie was in the middle of making the piece and I really wanted to come back to see if it was for sale yet. I came back on Friday and it had not sold yet. So, I nabbed that up along with some other housewares and other tschotskes. Ricochet not only has a good selection of vintage clothing for both the ladies and gents but they also have housewares, records, handmade jewelry and vintage jewelry. Super reasonable with tons to peruse. If you dig vintage you should come. They also have a small selection of vinyl!

A delightful, beautiful shop with a pleasant atmosphere. It’s not that large, but there are a lot of things for those stopping through to check out; hats, jewelry, clothes, records, toys, boots, and so on. The lady present running the store was also delightful and very nice. We didn’t catch her name, but she was great and was pleasant to our rowdy bunch of teens. We love Joshua Tree, and this store is one of the better ones on the«strip.»
