The owner was very nice.
The yarn selection is QUITE varied, with a lot of high end and quirky yarn, and some local dyers. I LOVED that!
It’s hard to get around the shop, since it’s very crammed in.
I did a road-trip to Julian from San Diego JUST to go to this yarn shop, and I’d say it wasn’t worth it. If you’re in the area, I think it would be a great go-to yarn shop. If you’re driving from afar, JUST for yarn… I’m not sure it’s quite worth it. If you just enjoy road-tripping for the sake of road-tripping, go for it!
I believe that the inventory at San Diego yarn shops are practically the same as any other San Diego yarn shop. BUT this yarn shop is DIFFERENT! They definitely have yarns that you won’t see at the other San Diego yarn shops!

This was a wonderful experience. Even though the shop was actually closed we saw Kat, the owner, through the window and she saw us. She welcomed us with open arms and we spent half the day visiting and looking at her yarns, patterns, and samples.
At the shop, there is a wonderful selection of Yarn’s from all over the world.
