Delicious sandwiches. The bread was delicious and the combination of ingredients hit the spot for us

3.5 stars, Perfect place to grab a meal after hiking three sisters falls! It’s a very homey café that sells salads, sandwiches, and has a great selection of baked goods! —spinach and goat cheese with cranberries and candied walnuts salad: okay, I make this at home all the time —roasted veggie panini: yummy, perfect for vegetarians —chicken and rice soup:(soup of the day) good flavor! We didn’t get to try the baked goods since we were going to get pie at Julian’s but I would totally try them next time!

We enjoyed a wonderful chicken vegetable soup today for lunch. Delicious! The service was good and people were very friendly! We ate healthy, but there were lots of tempting goodies. Next time!

My husband and I were on the hunt for fresh bread and were referred to this place. SCORE!!! Not only are their baked goods divine and fresh but everyone was super friendly and helpful. We asked for a pizza recommendation and to our surprise, they have a secret menu that offers pizza. Another win! Great pizza. Great cider. We had already picked up pies so we did not get any from here but definitely had pie envy. Looking forward to stopping in on this hidden gem for some breakfast on our next trip to Julian.

Ordered 2 crepes, 2 coffee’s, and two sides of butternut squash soup, total about $ 25. The crepes were fantastic, my partner in crime ordered the California onion(Brie, sautéed onion, fried egg on top, ham, and a white sauce) it was supposed to come with avocado but they ran out and my P.C. opted for more Brie. I had the ABC crêpe which came with apples, bacon, and cheddar. The crêpe itself was light, crisp on the outside, but fluffy on the inside and I really enjoyed it. The bacon was thick cut, seriously THICKCUT and I LOVED it. It was REAL bacon not the small strips Denny’s gives you but like the artisan kind you find at high end grocery stores. The apples had a cinnamon spice to them and the cheese was ozzing out in long strips with each cut into the crêpe. The fatty bacon paired well with the sweet apples and cheddar didn’t overpower but instead enhanced the crêpe. My partner in crimes was nice as well and quite rich, maybe from the extra Brie. The butternut squash soup was a big disappointment, cold and underwhelming. I could tell it was micro waved and stuck to the spoon it was so thick and cold, nor did it taste sweet(supposed to have coconut milk) instead more of sage. Would go back for crepes and some sweets on display.

This small pastry shop is very generous and lovely. We had the chicken cordon Bleu crêpe. Portions are good and staff are all friendly. When you check in you get a dip of your choice!

This place is a hidden gem! We walked by here on the way to our car and decided to swing in. I wish we would’ve seen it sooner. They have pies here too, which are equally amazing. You can order by the slice and even get some vanilla ice cream with it! The sandwiches they have are amazing and are priced amazingly. There aren’t too many seats here but it wasn’t packed when I dropped by. Totally recommend coming here if you wanna beat the crowds and grab a tasty bite to eat and some pie ;)

Everyone seeking outstanding scrumptious food that is served quickly in a friendly environment, eat smart and come here. Thin crust pizza so delicious and the ultra thin crust held the weight of most loaded pizza available like it was a super ninja. The pies! Oh… you other Julian pie companies… the competition is on… these pies are prettier and taste just as good. Without waiting in line.

Had a yummy Julian breakfast with tarty and sweet apple cider(just the way I like it). I came back after an hour to buy traditional apple pie and two chocolate bombes. Friends really loved it at dinner.

Small place in Julian that has tons of options for breakfast and lunch. We decided not to try this place as we had just finished our huge lunch next door but will be back for sure. They have a few seats outside and a few inside. What’s great is they have a few parking spots right in front which is very convenient. Their staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Little place tucked in a corner that may get missed between the more populated cafes on Main Street. In fact the only reason we went there is because one of the cafes had a ridiculous hour and a half wait(p.s. its not that good) We were greeted warmly and ordered a couple of their crepes for the kids and hot sandwiches for us. The also make their own bread, and have lots of pastries. The place is quite small so we got lucky finding a table. I also got a vanilla black tea. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. Everything we had was solid and better than any place I have eaten in Julian. Even though that is not saying much, I would recommend coming here over any other place they have to offer in Julian food wise

Great food! I love it when you can get fresh food and quality ingredients on vacation! The chef obviously puts a lot of love and skill into the food here. The flavor profiles were great. We had a larger party and almost didn’t go in, but it is surprisingly roomier than you think inside. Restrooms are conveniently located around back for a quarter.

The lunch fare was good. Had a Three Cheese Panini and a cup of chili. The bread used for the panini really made it tasty. Service was good and the food was ready in a timely manner. Sat outside and enjoyed lunch on the patio. The real winner was the Dutch apple crumb pie. Best apple pie I’ve had in Julian. Had a slice with vanilla ice cream a la mode and purchased a whole pie to bring home. Both were excellent!

The Italian chicken salad is super delicious! Chunks of chicken breast with a artichoke and tomato sauce on a bed or Spanish! Big portion too! Highly recommended! *my husband had the chicken focaccia sandwich, and he said it’s delicious as well! I didn’t get to try any, but it looked super yum! Come and try this place!!!

This place is sort of hidden but the sign can be seen from the main street. The exterior and interior are both very cute and cozy and the gal behind the counter that helped us was so sweet. There were so many beautiful pastries up front, behind the glass, including some scrumptious looking cupcakes. We ordered a raisin cinnamon bread and it was topped with caramel and whipped cream, which sounded delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it. The caramel tasted more bitter than sweet and the whipped cream had no flavor. I was so disappointed :*(. Next time, I’ll stick to my gut instinct and try one of their cupcakes.

Disclaimer: I haven’t visited the bakery… Yet, but man let me tell you all about their blackberry apple pie! My co-worker brought in the pie to beat the Monday morning gloom. The filling pf the pie is very fresh! Not too overwhelming sweet! The baker to capture the natural flavor of the fruits very well. The crust is flakey and with the perfect sugar sprinkle that added the perfect crunch! Looking forward visiting their cute little shop in person next time to check-in.

Who would have thought you could find food so delicious out here? None the less a sandwich that was so good! We were pleasantly surprised at how great our sandwiches came out. Very well thought out and flavorful. I got the Chicken Foccacia Sandwich which was awesome!!! THEYEVENMAKETHEIROWNFOCACCIABREAD! It literally melts in your mouth. And the artichoke spread they put on there… Drooling.

Location: It is further behind the town hall a street behind. It is kind of hidden, but can see their name on one of the tall buildings looking from the west side of julian. Décor: A nice quaint café. Some wooden tables and chairs and even some outdoor seating. Food & Drinks: I got the Turkey Tapanade toasted panini style. I had to say for $ 8 it wasn’t too bad. It was fast to come out and tasted pretty good. It also came with two pickle slices(the large ones). They also sell pies and other small baked goods here like tart, but we didn’t try any. Maybe next time :). Happy Sandwich eating my friends!

Really good sandwich shop with much smaller crowds than most of the shops in town. If it is busy it can take a while though because there doesn’t seem to be a large staff and sandwiches are made to order. The shop has a variety of gourmet sandwiches with a couple vegetarian options. They also have soup, salad, and a good selection of tasty looking bakery goods.
