Do not believe the good reviews left by people attracted by cheap Bloody Marys. First and foremost — service sucks! It took more than 30 minutes to get our beers in half-empty place. The waitress(Erica?) looks at us as if we owe her something and tries to show her attitude although we do not try to ask for anything or show our dissatisfaction in any way. Food is gross, vegetables are frozen, meet is overcooked. My salad never shows up but I do not try to protest because I’m not very hungry. A man at nearby table politely asks for the sauce the waitress forgot to bring and she makes a scene! She gives him and his party the hell of the day, deliberately ignoring them and rolling eyes and threatens to call the police on them. Do not go there unless you enjoy abuse and gross food. Go if you want to get hammered with cheap drinks.

Smells like an ashtray. Waitresses are nice. Portions are small. It just seemed a little dirty. Over priced for sure! I get so tired of mountain towns over charging food. Be real if your going to serve small portions for something I could have made for way less than even half of what you would charge.

You would be better off buying some frozen Mac and Cheese and microwaving it! The pasta they served was old and dry, the French Dip sandwich was ok but I finished it in 4 bites! Ok for a beer and some fried food but if you have a palate whatsoever, go elsewhere.

Great little place in June Lake. Husband and I went for dinner our first night in town. Food is good, kinda like café food. Husband got teriyaki chicken which was really quite good. I got chicken strips which were ok but nothing to write home about. Very friendly environment, decent prices, fast service. We will definitely go back on our next trip to June Lake. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of table seating, but this is a little place, so it makes sense.

Came in here one evening for a bite to eat after a long day. The staff was very welcoming and super friendly. I ordered the fried zucchini which was fresh slices that were batter fried and very tasty. My friend got the chili cheese fries and both of us were happy when we left and headed back to the hotel. This is a nice place to come get a drink and some food here in this small quaint town. Come check them out.

Very bland food. Not much there for people on a gluten free diet. But server did the best they could to accommodate my allergies to gluten and diary.

Food is better than«bar food» but it isn’t fancy… Think café food. We’ve had the nachos before which is cheesy orange nacho cheese sauce goodness. We come here EVERYTIME we’re in town. The pineapple teriyaki chicken was great! Juicy chicken breast/tenderloins with teriyaki sauce and a grilled pineapple served with two Hawaiian rolls, sauteed and buttered stir fry veggies, and a baked potato. Bartenders and servers are a lot of fun to talk to. It’s a great place to hang out after hitting the slopes. There’s a pool table and a ton of seating. Haven’t tried breakfast but we will soon! Thanks Tiger Bar ;)

We came here twice during our stay. The first time the place was packed but we actually had decent service and wait times. My sandwich was mediocre and the tiger fries were a little limp. Maybe they rushed our meal trying to service the large party. We didn’t plan on coming a second time, but we were forced to after walking out of the Sierra Inn. Food was better this time and they saved the night. It is a bar, so you need to except that fact before you dine here.

Super nice service! On our extended visit to June Lake we came here twice. I can’t even remember what we ordered here for the breakfast but it had something to do with a hashbrown veggie toss. I needed coffee and the sweet server kept me pumped full of hot black caffeine. They were very understanding about no butter, preferably no oil, veggies only, potatoes, nachos with no cheese, the beans do not have meat in them… yada yada. They even have a veggie burger! Three stars for this very friendly tiger theme diner like lovely… but an extra star for the service. And yum their unsweetened iced tea is good!!! I like it strong and fresh just like that!

Staff is super friendly and attentive. Fine diner food. We had the french dip, which was a-ok. Nothing to write home about but pretty good too. Like the fact that they buttered the roll. The au-jus sauce was pretty good and the meat was fine, but the kids really liked it.

People think a 3-star review is bad, but Unilocal says 3 stars means«A-OK.» That’s what this place is – A-OK. Nothing special and certainly not fancy, but if you’re hungry and thirsty for booze, this gets the job done. I appreciated that they have some vegetarian options – omelets for breakfast, a burrito and sandwich for lunch/dinner. I got the sandwich. It wasn’t great, but it was fine. I loved the deep fried potato chips though. Everyone who works here is really friendly. Good vibes.

We went here for a late lunch around 3.30pm on A Saturday. Place was not too crowded the waiter was friendly and courteous. The prices were reasonable. We ordered the soup of the day with hot dogs and French fries. The food was delicious. Will visit again.

I ended up going here for breakfast and lunch one day when the fish weren’t biting. Service was friendly. Prices are on point. Food was good. I had the scrambled eggs with onion and potatoes for breakfast, and a grilled cheese sandwich with their housemade potato chips for lunch. The chips alone are worth a trip! Oh, I also tried the nachos at lunch — they were great!

Too tired after a day of hiking to write much but all in all friendly staff…(all men, bartender, waiter and cooks) fun very casual atmosphere and yummy blue chess ortega burger and beer batter fries! It was a welcome change after last night’s far more expensive and completely inedible dinner up the street so I’m a happy camper(and if you saw the hotel in which we’re staying you’d know that’s more literal than it sounds) I’ll be back for breakfast. Yum!

We always make a trip to the tiger bar when we are camping but this will be the last time. I ordered the Nachos and the chips were stale, the cheese was over cooked in the microwave. It was either soggy or dry. Totally disgusting. The chili cheese fries were not much better, cheese was not melted and the chili was lukewarm. The kicker was the spicy hot wings for 12.95 they were regular breaded wings, nothing special as far as hot in fact there was no hot sauce anywhere to be found and for the price there was only 6 pieces. No offer for napkins, we were short silverware and the server was unattentive in fact barely acknowledged us. It was the worst ever.

We stayed at the June Lake Villager, which is conveniently located next door to this establishment. My husband and I went to Tiger Bar for breakfast two days in a row. Service was a bit slow on the first day, but it was better on the second day. I can’t really hold this establishment at fault, this just seems to be the standard for west coast when eating out. Our breakfasts were good and we enjoyed the coffee too! If we ever go back to June Lake we would eat here again.

Came here on a Tuesday night with family. It was packed! But the wait wasn’t that bad. About 15 min. I ordered the pineapple burger with dinner salad. I was VERY happy with my meal. The burger was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly when I got it. The salad was good also. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Price was reasonable from what I remember. Service was ok. We had a guy serve us. There was a girl there but she didn’t seem to be doing too much so the guy was running around. You could tell he was probably frustrated from the lack of help. He took our order like he was in a big hurry but we cut him some slack because of how crowded it was. And he was the only one really working. Overall: very good :)

This is my favorite place to eat in June lake. Food is always great, staff is nice and drinks are strong. If you are looking for 5 star dining go somewhere else, but for some awesome wings and burgers this is the place. Can’t forget the breakfast! You can play pool and the juke box too! Wings used to be spicy… now they’re not ! Hope u guys check it out

I was staying at a hotel across the street and Tiger Bar was probably one of the two or so restaurants in the entire town of June Lake. We initially tried to go to Mammoth Village, but every restaurant had a wait time of 2+ hours so we came back to June Lake. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with my experience. Out of the entire 4 day weekend stay in the Mammoth area, I would say this was my favorite food establishment. Service was quick, beer was good, and the food selection was great. Prices were also normal and not«resort» prices. Since I am very likely to stay at June Lake again for the snowboarding season, you can expect that I will be eating at Tiger Bar again as well. I didn’t give it a full 5 stars due to the small beer selection, the place was rather cold(everyone seemed to be wearing heavy winter coats even while eating), and while the food was good, it wasn’t amazing… just on par with your average restaurant. BTW, the Tiger Chips were pretty darn good. They are unsalted though, so if you like salted chips, you may want to sprinkle some salt on them first.
