So this is a cool place with a very tropical vibe. Awesome spot to come and get a drink and listen to music and sit outside in what is basically a rain forrest. If you sit at the bar, only half of the menu is available to you. There is not one single vegetarian option on this part of the menu. Not one. When my family and I came here, I ended up ordering a mango and avocado salad that had bacon on it but I got it without the bacon. This was a truly terrible salad. Very minimal avocado (which was the only good thing on the salad), rock hard tasteless mango, bibb lettuce, and some sort of a dressing that basically just tasted like mayo, which was disgusting. My family was moderately pleased with their meals. We couldn’t try the rest of the menu, but I can’t imagine it was much better. So I would come here for a cocktail or a beer but not more than that. There is a dock right outside where you can park your boat, so that is cool. Just be careful of the signage; you can’t park everywhere.

Foods good, a little pricey. You are definitely paying for the ambiance. My biggest gripe is the «service», I write that in quotes because it’s basically non existent. The servers are bored with you. Make sure you’re ready to order and that you ask for everything at that exact moment because they won’t be back. Sip your drink slowly you won’t get another, and when they come and frisbee your food across the table, frantically check that it’s what you want before the food runner sprints away.

Too many rude drunks who do not know when to quit drinking. Food is not good and not worth the price I imagine they need to jack up the prices to cover the cost of the landscaping. For the price of the drinks I don’t believe the atmosphere needs to be sloppy with over drunk patrons bumping into you, trying to hit on you and basically getting belligerent making public scenes with no front door security to keep them under control, sent the appetizers back and could have sworn what the kitchen replaced it with was spit in, passed it up, left and went across the street to Schooners. Our first time there and we will never go back we didn’t even get a discount on our check for the poor food that was sent back, drunks bumping into us spilling drinks on us and no security. Skip this place.

Great spot for happy hour drinks and appetizers. Awesome ambiance, it’s a nice retreat.

Overpriced mediocre food. Only good thing about this place is the location which is on the water. Staff is entitled and unwelcoming. Tourist trap!

Simple review for a simple place. I was very much looking forward to this place and it left me a tad dissapointed but i am unable to put my finger on it.
The good:
–happy hour is 6 bucks for their specialty cocktails which were strong and half off or 6 bucks for many apps
–location you can dock your boat on the pier and then come in for some dranks and eats!
–live music is always a plus
–über drive from west palm beach was 20 bucks for 16 mi drive … yassss
The bleh or the bad but i don’t want to call it bad keys call it mediocre:
–ppl goo to restaurants to eat. From the 4 appetizers we had it definitely didn’t entice me to want to try any of the entrees so i left buzzed and mucho hungry!
I would come back for happy hour though which ends at 6 pm i believe if i was ever in jupiter or west palm beach lol

Just what you want from an outdoor bar restaurant. We had 13 people, so we ended up getting two tables since in West Palm Beach no restaurant can accommodate that many people promptly of comfortably. Food was tasty and staff extremely friendly. Drinks were good too. Go here for the experience and if you do, take the stairs down to the boat dock to enjoy a chair and relax. We did and loved it !!!

This was a cool place to eat and listen to good music. I don’t like that if you want happy hour prices that you have to sit in the bar section, and if you sit there that ½ of the menu isn’t available to you. Nevertheless, we sat at the bar and ate. My drink was strong! The burger was one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. I also tasted the fish dip and sweet and spicy wings. It was all delicious. The fish and wings tasted smoked giving it a unique taste.
I just wish our server was better. Overall, I’d come back.

Came here for drinks w a party of 8 bartender said 4 chairs were reserved in the bar. Yes, RESERVED. Maybe for her friends. So we are heading to another bar.

So this place is ok, i have to come again to give another review. This is a lunch review.

Took our family this morning for breakfast and it was absolutely beautiful! Service and food were great! Highly recommend for families with children specifically for breakfast because it’s not super busy.

Yassss! This place was perfect for the great weather here in Jupiter. Me and hubby made it here within 5 minutes of the close of happy hour! We ordered two drinks each and two apps from the happy hour menu like happy hour champs! The drinks were tropical and fruity, and the apps, chicken nachos and fried conch fritters were perfect to soak up all the alcohol. Awesome time here!

Couldn’t ask for a better Happy Hour — 6 $ Signature Cocktails paired with ½ priced apps — in a nicer setting! Located right on the water, the ambiance couldn’t be nicer. We also had dinner here which was not only tasty but the service was very good as well!

We’ve been to Guanabanas a number of times and I guess I’ve just been slacking on getting a review posted. Whether you’ve spent a day at the beach or on the boat or like us a Harley ride up from Ft Lauderdale, this is the perfect spot to cool off and grab some light fare.
Nestled between the ICW and the inlet, this massive tiki bar is serving up some good eats. I don’t think there’s any option except valet but leave the parking to the pros and go enjoy your lunch.
We arrived just before the rush and luckily were seated right away along the water, a perfect spot and start. Jeni was our waitress and did a good job of taking care of us. She brought waters for the table without us asking which was a nice touch to cool us off. We put in drink orders as she passed out menus.
Lots of appetizer options in their «First Wave» section from chowders, nachos, wings, conch fritters, quesadillas and empanadas, there’s something for everyone.
A variety of sandwiches on the regular menu as well as several seafood options. The tacos looked popular and came in either fish or shrimp. Wifey and I were not that hungry so we decided to share the shrimp tacos. A little pricey at $ 9.50 for 2 tacos but we both loved them so not complaining. Our friends ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fish tacos and both seemed to enjoy them as well.
There’s a salad section with 4 – 5 healthy options and the ability to add thinks like a skewer of shrimp, piece of fish, etc.
Signature dishes like shrimp and grits, catch of the day entrees and for the meat & potato guys there’s a hearty steak option, a pork chop and handful of other choices.
We sat and chatted while taking in the surrounding sights such as people renting stand up paddle-​boards, party boats in all sorts of sizes, styles and configurations. Jeni did an excellent job of keeping our drinks filled and making sure we didn’t need anything.

Horrible, unfriendly service at the bar and ridiculous appetizers with crackers still in their original plastic packaging (what kind of upstanding chef kind of chef would serve this??)
The real food was flavorless and very little exciting.

This is hands down a gem in the middle of Jupiter! My husband and I came here because of the reviews and recommendations from other people, and as soon as we walked in the restaurant, we knew it was going to be a great place. This is an open restaurant/​massive tiki bar sitting next to the intercostal, which makes it a phenomenal spot to hang out and have a good time.
The day we went it was unfortunately raining so we did not spend as much time as we wanted there, but we certainly took advantage of their happy hour! We had no idea they would have a happy hour on Saturdays, but they do, and it’s from 3:00pm-6pm. so here we were able to get appetizers for 50% off and specialty drinks for only $ 6! I mean you can’t really get any better than that! I then ordered a mango cocktail which tasted just like the tropics and we proceed to order food.
We went with different appetizers so we could try a few things, and we choose their Hot Smoked Wings, Shrimp Fritters and Chicken and Cheese Empanadas. The wings were smoked to perfection, and while they were not really spicy, they were tender and the meat was falling off the bone. The fritters had the perfect combination of shrimp and veggies, and it came with a sweet dipping sauce which elevated the flavors to the max. Also, the empanadas were fried to perfection and came with a jalapeño jelly sauce for dipping goodness.
My husband and I had a phenomenal time here, and if it wasn’t for the rain, we would have stay longer. Great job to everyone working here, and we can’t wait to come back for more!

THIS IS A MUST GO!!!
David and I wanted to check out Guanabanas since we were in the area. We used the valet service (I don’t think there’s any other option) and as soon as we walked into the building, our jaws dropped. It was a very chill, beach-​like atmosphere, as something you would imagine on a tropical island. The wait was about an hour, but you can easily grab a drink at the bar and wait by the water at a bench or adirondack chair to kill time.
Once seated, we ordered local craft beers and the Southern Country & Antigua. The fish was very fresh, but my meal, Antigua, was missing the seasonal veggies. And both of our meals included rice… I would’ve preferred a larger fish. We filled up more via the rice than the fish. :(Either way, we left feeling full but not uncomfortable and we will definitely return! :)

Shrimp and grits. Get on my level! So, so good. Great service, top shelf liquor, and fun with great friends. If I lived here, I would frequent this place. Thanks, Melissa (Batman), for taking such good care of us.

The location is the draw. Everything is outside by the waterway, covered with the most beautiful greenery you can imagine. It is a real tropical experience situated on the intercostal. There is only valet parking but if you want park your own car do it at the lot across the road .
FYI: They do not take reservations and wait times can exceed 40 minutes during season.

I want to give this place 4 stars, I really do. The overall feel of the place is a laid back islander vibe. With tiki huts wrapped around trees, hand written big arrow signs and oversize pastel colored lounge chairs: the mood is set to enjoy your surroundings and get in vacation/​weekend mode.
The entire joint has outdoor seating which in Florida can cause some overheating, but they have fans all over that makes the outdoor venue enjoyable.
My tiff is with the food and accompanying price tags. It is way too much. I know fresh seafood/​fish comes at a price, but shouldn’t be such a hefty one ($ 26/​plate for catch of the day) for the portion size. The plates we ordered were good, nothing great. To be fair, they are also renovating their kitchen so the menu was very limited.
Overall, ambiance is cool, fun, and laid back. I’d come back to enjoy this and a couple of drinks, but not waste my $$ on food.
