I can’t believe it took me this long to find this place. Went with a group of 4 with 2 being from out of town. Everyone loved it. Get there early to avoid the line and hang out at the bar for some local beers. food is amazing and very well prepared. If you love fresh local fish this is a great place. Must-go.

Delicious!!! Three of us all LOVED our dishes. We will be back. Keep in mind it is small and gets quite busy so get there before noon. Worth every cent!!! Will be back. Note: the menu is never the same they write it up for the day each morning and night shift. You will not get the same thing next time you go. For me… not an issue I am defiantly a foodie and love New dishes. Some ppl are not as adventurous. Just a little tip for ppl wanting a round 2 of the same dish. Also affiliated with the Leftovers resteraunt. Also would like to add the waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I can’t remember the man’s name.

My brother lives in Juno Beach and was excited to take me and the family here for dinner one night. He visits often, and it’s for good reason… He told me that all the good restaurants are in strip malls in Florida. I was skeptical, but it must be true! It was a packed house, but not as packed as it normally is, since I was visiting when most people were up north for the holidays. We waited at the bar, had some good beer, and fried grouper cheeks as an app. These were awesome. Once seated, quarters are a little tight, but this is really to the benefit of patrons. Vibes are fun and relaxed, music goes right along with it. Service was attentive despite the restaurant being packed to capacity. When I visit next time… I will be back! Now craving.

I have visited this restaurant at least fifty times since 2011 and it never disappoints. Wish we had one in Fort Lauderdale! The fish is the absolute freshest you will get anywhere and is always cooked to perfection, my favorite is the Wahoo which is never overcooked. The salad dressings are phenomenal and matched to the perfect salad. I have been for dinner and lunch when it is quiet and totally full, the service is still outstanding.

We visited the food shack while in the area looking for a cool place to have lunch. Even at 3PM when most places are quiet this place had a wait. About 20 minutes later we sat down and ordered a salad with the fish of the day and A burger. They were both amazing! The service was very attentive and friendly. The place has a funky vibe which I loved. It’s the kind of place you can miss if you’re not looking for it as it’s in the strip mall. I came here because of the Unilocal reviews and the photos which were amazing. I say you give them a chance you won’t regret it!

I guess I get this place while really not«getting» it. That is, I see why people go apeshit over this place but I don’t. Last night I had the mofongo-coated grouper. I was expecting a strong, spicy flavor but the coating had no flavor at all. It was just crust. I reached for the salt shaker and wished for lemons it was so bland. The fish itself was cooked a little too long, which is normal for Florida seafood but shouldn’t be for a foodie place like this. The grouper was $ 26 which, considering the portion, was a great deal. The piece was huge. It sat on a bed of greens, no starch wanted or needed. My daughter had spicy mac and cheese with chicken on the side. It was, again, a big portion, enough for two people. It was competently prepared and she enjoyed it. We had tuna eggrolls for appetizers and my mother had the crab stuffed eggrolls for her entrée. Both were good and unusual for the area but NOT exceptional. Am I expecting too much? This is my second try and it jibes with the first, when I had chicken wings that were«pretty good» by local standards, and that’s comparing them to chain restaurants. The funky setting and the overall vibe are attractive, I guess they are what make me want more(and judge the place harshly) while others seem to be very happy with what they get.

Ambiance/décor-3 Service-4 Food-3 Strikeouts-0/3 First day in Florida and we decided to stop by here based on recommendations from the inn that we’re staying at. First impression was that people were really friendly and service was good. My girlfriend and I came here just past noon and there was a short line up for lunch. Soon after we got a table for two. The food was good but it wasn’t anything over the top. There was a good variety of fried and grill seafood. We enjoyed fruit salads, their(homemade) dressing made the salad unique. We enjoyed our stay here but probably not enough to come back.

Some of the best seafood anywhere. And you’d never expect to find it in a place like this — a strip mall. Tip: always order from the specials menu

Great casual restaurant in JUPITER. Don’t be alarmed it being in a strip mall. If u are in the mood for fresh fish prepared uniquely and perfectly then try Food Shack. We go often and sit in the lounge area as they also have live entertainment that is very good. If u are looking for a more formal venue then don’t go to the Shack. It us one of our favorites !

Such a hidden gem. You’d never guess pulling into the shopping plaza that this place would totally rock! For starters we grabbed a drink at the bar and grouper fingers(which rocked). Then when we got to our table we ordered an array of amazing fish including Triple Tail which you never find on the menu and my favorite Hog Fish. Then you choose your topping/style for your fish(I got the sweet potato topping) and the fish is cooked to perfection. I love that the fish is served on top greens instead of rice or potatoes. And desert… S’mores cake was delicious then we went and listened to the live band on the bar side and enjoyed the rest of our evening. This is now a staple in out dinner routine. Going to try something new every time.

Little Moir’s Food Shack is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping plaza but, as soon as you walk in, the island-like vibe sucks you right in and I COULDN’T GETENOUGH! For a starter, I had the Red Pepper Crab soup which was absolutely perfect. Fresh crab(not imitation) and not too hot to eat. But, it’s a local joint known for crusting fish so of course I ordered the Sweet Potato crusted tuna entrée(you can choose whatever FRESH fish you want to be crusted) served over lettuce, apricots, apples, tomato, onion and green beans. They also add their own sauce/dressing which gave the perfect touch to the salad. Best part is they don’t skimp on the portions… Just the right amount to make you feel full but not stuffed to the point of no return. I definitely recommend The Food Shack and will be going back as often as possible!

I am totally obsessed with this place and I’ve never actually dined in only take out. The food is so good and so flavorful. Today I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich on a Flatbread. It has sweet fried plantains on top and Brie cheese melted on it. I’ve never thought of that combination before but it is AMAZING !!! The wait staff is always so pleasant when I’m ordering and picking up, I’m sure that they are just as nice when dining in. The place is always packed and I believe they have live music at night. I will make the trip from my house to come and have dinner here with my hubby very soon and I hope dining in is as good as my take out!!!

This is one of those gems of a restaurant that once you find it you don’t want to tell anyone about it so it doesn’t get too crowned. Well, this is a well known place for the locals and for good reason– this is one of the greats in the country. It has a series of slam dunk Zagat ratings on the wall and the food, service, and ambiance live up to the hype. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place has the feel of a laid back surf shack, but the food of a posh restaurant with chandeliers and crap like that. I had and recommend the hogfish(blackened) and the cream brûlée cheesecake.

What a funky menu! It doesn’t look like a trendy eatery from the outside, once you walk in. you’ll understand that this is the spot to dine here in the Jupiter Inlet Area. I couldn’t resist the temptation of ordering the Sweet Potato Crusted Snapper. What a neat concept! The menu has so many fun things on it that it doesn’t take a minute to decide which one your going to order. Basically, it’s a list of different ways to prepare your fish and then once you pick the one want– you then pick the fish you want prepared with that style. It’s a great concept. I tried the Fried Oysters and Lump Crab Egg Rolls to start off with. It was awesome! The egg rolls did lack a lot of crab but nonetheless they were flavorful. I really loved the fried oysters though! Everything here comes with salad. Salad this and salad that. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more heartier to accompany the fish. Everything you order here comes with salad so it was the third salad I had seen in the matter of fifteen minutes. Too much greens in my taste. Let’s talk about desert though– wow! The raspberry Key Lime was PHENOMENAL! The perfect mix of sour and sweet with those nice ripe berries alongside it was perfection ! They had a nice beer selection and obviously were packed for a reason. I would definitely return here every time I’m in Jupiter Inlet

Seriously? Where has this place been all my life?! Everything on the menu is delicious and the specials are always amazing as well. The creativity behind each item proves that food is an art and these chefs are truly talented. I wish I could eat here for every meal, everyday but sadly I don’t think the universe would permit it. I’m not usually a desert person but I fantasize about the Stoners Delight and I would gladly allow that marshmallow covered deliciousness to be my last meal. If you haven’t tried Food Shack you NEED to immediately. You won’t be disappointed so just head on over and enjoy.

Three of us sat at the bar… no seating in limited dining area. Apptzr: Tuna and Basil Roll– excellent… great combo of tuna, sweet and a little spicy… add the wasabi aioli and you are good to go! Lunch — Me: yellow fin tuna w/tandoori rub was great! Add the coconut rice, fresh fruit and cucumber salad and you can’t miss ! Lite and fresh! Lunch — Wife: sweet potatoes crusted golden tile fish was very tasty but heavier than mine. Dessert: coconut caramel flan was good although consistency was too thick.

Very Good! Big portions so don’t worry about cost because you can either split an entrée or have half for lunch the next day! Don’t waste your time on wings there are so many other items you can only get there. The salads are huge, full if fresh ingredients, and topped with a choice of many fresh fishes that are coated in unique ingredients. Casual atmosphere, yay ladies don’t worry about wearing your lipstick or do… no worries! A loud and busy atmosphere. There is a little wait to a long wait at all times it’s worth it for foodies!

Small restaurant in a strip mall. Very cool décor inside that feels like you are in the Caribbean on vacation. There are benches outside while you wait for your table. This place was packed at 4:30pm on a Saturday. We were a group of six and got the only table they had available at that time. We came by bike and they have no bike racks. We locked the bikes together by the door and they were there when we left. Staff was friendly and drinks were always refilled. I ordered a grilled avocado appetizer. It comes topped with tomatoes, chicken, and aioli sauce. It was good. Everyone in my party thought their food had good flavor, except for the seafood tacos that looked like a wrap. My friend said it didn’t have much flavor. The steak fries are salty. Overall, they have a very creative menu with a mix of Caribbean/Florida items. The daily special menu was as big as their regular menu… so many options. The desserts looked good too. There is a bar with about 15 seats. They do not have a liquor license… only beer and wine.
