Best burger I’ve ever had… pretty expensive, but its worth it!

Being from Texas I know BBQ and this is hands down the best BBQ I have ever had! We love Uncle Bo Bo’s!

Oh my god, so good! We had the pork shoulder sandwich and the bean burrito. Everything was really good. The garlic potato wedges with delicious! We also had the signature drinks and found them way too sweet but the food made up for it.
Stop here for sure!!!

Friendly service. Only had time for malasadas and a drink, but I wish that we had more time to spend in Oahu – we’d come back for more.. .
My wife liked the malasadas better here than Leonard’s, and I’m inclined to agree – as good as Leonard’s is, I think that Uncle Bobo edges them slightly in this department. I only saw one type of malasada when I was there – cinnamon sugar, but it was wonderful. If the malasadas are that good, it makes me wonder how good the BBQ is.

Excellent local stop — could not ask for friendlier service and the food was fantastic. The Man gave the ribs 9/​10, brisket was perfect and the malsadas were rich if you have any room for dessert. Highly recommend you try the specials as well — it seems they bake something new every few days!

Best pork shoulder sandwich ever! Seriously the juiciest sandwich I’ve had in a while. The coleslaw on the side was the perfect compliment.

BBQ is amazing here and service is great! A texas style bbq with great beans and rice on the side. A little restaurant with seating outside and views of the ocean. We will definitely come here every time we visit Oahu.

This is cute lil place in Kaawa right next to 7– Eleven. The mountains in the background make it look pretty cool. I love supporting local businesses so I decided to come check this spot out. They have variety of dishes here from BBQ, chilli, burgers, fries to Acai bowls and even shave ice! We shared the beef brisket which came with hillbilly rice and side of Cole slaw or baked beans. The beef brisket was tender but not that tasty. The BBQ sauce was ok. The hillbilly rice wasn’t that tasty as well. Cole slaw a bit sweet. Just my honest opinion but it wasn’t bad but it just didn’t have that wow factor for me.

We have never experienced such a soft and tasty smoked BBQ before.
We think this shop must get more famous.
We really highly recommend this restaurant.

Great place to satisfy your hunger, everything was off the chain, beef brisket and their authentic homemade bbq sauce! Ordered garlic potato wedges, Bam, on point! Their ribs, falling of the bone, will return for more goodness!

Late afternoon on a Sunday and we decided to check this place out 4 solid stars figured we couldn’t go wrong. I will preface this by saying they were due to close in 30 minutes. I ordered the beef brisket large and a small pork plate. They were out of coleslaw, which to me completes a bbq. Plate of any kind. The rice was a mushy bland yuck. I ordered garlic fries and thought they didn’t give them to me, my mistake I was looking for a golden fry looking item. I mistook them as pork cubes, brown little rocks with no garlic flavor at all, not to mention old tasting. The only reason for the 2 stars was the meat was tender and sauce good. When ordering a plate item, all items should be edible. Maybe things are better earlier in the day. It really looked like the bottom of the barrel.

Little hole in the wall restaurant (overlooking the sea), with simple but sumptuous menu. We ordered bbq pork quesadillas and we were not disappointed! Would definitely come back again.

Pork shoulder sandwich on homemade bread, homemade bbq sauce, mac salad, and ginger lemon splash. The bread was so moist and soft… nothing like fresh bread! Then the tender flavorful pork shoulder, sweet and smokey bbq sauce wonderful combo! The ginger splash is sooo refreshing! Loved it will be back on this visit!

I have yet to have a bad experience at this place! The food is always phenomenal and the service is friendly.
I’m actually sitting at a table outside, enjoying the pork shoulder sandwich and mac salad as I write this. I was on a walk with my dog and she needed a break so we stopped here. They brought her a bowl of water and later checked to see if she needed a refill… I will always return to businesses that welcomes my dog!
I’m no culinary expert, but my sandwich was great. Tender meat, amazing homemade roll, and a very flavorful bbq sauce. I’ve also had the spicy sausage here– it’s one of my favorites!
Last but not least– their iced vanilla latte is perfect. It’s not overly sweetened and you can actually taste the coffee (take notes, Starbucks!).
Just a note: It’s cash only… Make sure to bring a couple extra bucks to leave a tip!

I came here as I was looking for good BBQ places on Unilocal.It is CASH only I had the brisket plate. The brisket and BBQ sauce itself was very good the rice and mac n cheese were okay both a little dry the customer service was great! Great little place to eat some good BBQ!

An amazing smokehouse on Oahu.
We drove out from the diamond head area and it was well worth the time and gas.
We binged on a beef brisket sandwich, rack of pork ribs with slaw and rice, garlic potato fries and a hand crafted passion fruit soda.
One word: Bullseye
Everything was spot on from the deep smoke flavor of the meats to the bread they bake fresh for the sandwich to the perfect tangy mixture of the soda.
Staff was friendly, informative and happy to be doing what they do.
Highly recommend you make your paths cross with Uncle Bobo’s!

Best place to eat in the area, hands down. I’ll admit that I probably never would have come here if it wasn’t recommended to me, but one day I stopped at the Chocolate store under crouching lion and the lady recommended it. I’m glad she did!
We have been there twice so far. First time we got the Pork plate with beans and redneck rice, a quesadilla, and garlic potato fries/​wedges. The quesadilla was a quesadilla, BUT the bbq pork plate was AMAZING, and the garlic potato fries/​wedges are the best I have ever had.
Just went there again yesterday and we each got the bbq beef sandwich and garlic potato fries. Amazing once again. The employees who work there are also really cool and friendly.
I’m from Texas, so I know bbq. This is the best bbq place I’ve been to on the island and I will be eating here every time I’m on that side of the island.
You won’t be disappointed.

A true hole-​in-​the-​wall, complete with funky décor, funky location and GOOD EATS! My husband loved his BBQ tri-​tip sandwich on a fluffy soft roll. Sauce was amazing. He also loved the house made strawberry soda. I had the Pineapple French Toast Special with a scoop of ice cream — loved it!
Kids and my sis has various shaved ice creations — which they devoured. My sis, who knows her way around shaved ice and is not one to toss platitudes around lightly, declared Uncle Bobo’s the «Best shaved ice ever!» — enough said!
Before you venture over there, you must know that they are a cash only joint and they close at 5 during the week.
