Wanderlust Oahu was incredible. Totally the break I needed from the day to day grind. I live locally, so just drove up for a day. You can’t beat doing incredible yoga classes with instructors like Schyler Grant or Anna Forrest! I learned great tips from all the instructors which I try to incorporate into my daily practice. I am definitely coming back next year; and hopefully staying the entire weekend. The food and little stalls were also incredible and a nice edition to the classes. You could sample awesome food while you shopped for cool stuff like Buddha pants. Loved it! My only complaint would be the relaxation teacher. I’ll just stick to yoga next time around.

YYYOOOGGGAAA. The most awesome weekend of like-minded people from around the globe, lot’s of fun, friendship and spiritual love. This is THE yoga event in Hawaii. Taking place in the beautiful North Shore in Oahu at Turtle Bay Resort, this provides the perfect setting for spiritual connectivity. The world’s best yogis present a plethora of classes: Ashtanga, Aerial yoga, Acro-Yoga, Kundalini, etc., there’s something for everybody. When you stop to watch the sun set over the Pacific, it’s time to reflect on your day, then off to some live entertainment on center stage. I got to enjoy Moby in his DJ Set, simply awesome. Even if you’re not into yoga, being around these folks is uplifting. See you next year my friends.

Wanderlust O’ahu is a yoga convention on the North Shore of O’ahu, Hawai’i. It has many cool sponsors, and there are many types of sessions as classes. Admission can be pricey, but it gives you access to some of the coolest and hottest yoga classes, instructors, etc. The non yoga sessions can sometimes cost more, so take that into account. Sign up online for sessions. The place is filled with awesome and friendly people who are there to experience yoga, as well as vendors, volunteers, and non-profits that are environmentally minded. My sister in law is a huge yogi, and she flew in from Canada just for this event. I was here because I got to volunteer with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, who are here giving info on marine debris. Everything is absolutely awesome, and I highly recommend coming out if you get a chance!
