The fried rice is a rip off for $ 9. It was 98% rice. I questioned the counter person if it had any pulled pork or sausage as none was visible. Not very tasty to top it off and most was tossed in the trash.

Wow! Food truck that’s Parked outside the Maui Brewing Company on Mondays. Had the Garlic-ginger chicken. Chicken very moist, lots of flavor. Always excited to find great food that not a lot of Unilocalers know about. Also you have to try the banana cornbread.

Fresh — but altogether just average After visiting the Lavender Farm we passed this place and decided to give it a try. Service was friendly and we were the only ones around, so it was quick too. We had the Garlic Shrimp. There were six pieces of it. Two scoops of rice, some bread and salad with. For just about 12 $. The Shrimp were really fresh and cooked perfectly. But altogether it was just a bit bland and boring and for 12 $ also pretty average priced. It’s fine to fill your stomach, but there are better places around to eat. But we’re glad we tried it anyways. There’s nothing really wrong with it, but just not something special about it.

I had the pork rib plate. For $ 12.00, they give three ribs, rice, a green salad and a roll. Ribs were a good smokey flavor, off the bone. The BBQ sauce was good, too. Cornbread was good. Nice people.

The truck is posted outside Maui Brewing Co. this evening. Pork quesadillas and pork sliders are .com especially good for soaking up the beer!

Went here after Gestes was not there. The best pork ribs I’ve had, very tender, flavorful. Hubby had the shrimp, it came with some yummy pineapple and he loved it. He honored the free check in drink offer, so made a great dinner even better, loved it!

I stopped by Dibs on Da Ribs at Fourth Friday(once a month food festival held in a parking lot at Azeka shopping center). Because there are so many options, I try to eat a little from a few different places. After looking at this trucks menu, it appeared their banana cornbread was addictively good, according to its sign. I pony up my $ 4 and order a piece. I have to say the cornbread was just okay. I don’t think I’m addicted to it, but it wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t say don’t try it. Try it and judge for yourself. I like my cornbread to be crispy or crunchy on the top and bottom(from being grilled), and nice and moist on the inside. This cornbread was neither. The flavor was good, and the banana was a nice touch. However, I think it may have been just a touch too dry for my liking. I never write somewhere off on a first impression, so I would more than likely give it another shot in the future.

Kalua Pork Sliders… there are no words to describe how delicious they are!!! I will dream about them until my next visit. The pork is perfectly tender and so full of flavor. The banana cornbread is also good. My husband had the ribs and was very pleased. The ribs fell off the bone and the sauce gave a great local flavor. 2 thumbs up

Best food truck I’ve tried on Maui and I have been visiting for 5 years. High quality food so it may be a little slower than your average plate lunch.

We ordered a la carte and got the kalua pork, ribs, and shrimp. It took a while to make but we were just chilling with our beers at the Maui Brewing Company patio so it didn’t bother us at all. The garlic shrimp had a lot of great flavor, and the kalua pork was pretty good – we liked that there were bits of pineapple mixed in the shredded meat, but the ribs really blew us away. The ribs were falling off the bone tender and the homemade sauce was out of this world and had a good balance of sweet and spice.

Got the rib plate and the Kalbi steak big wrap today at Kahului harbor. honestly… ITWASTASTY. His sauce was really good on the ribs, nice kick to it. The only downside, I WISH I HADMORERIBSTOEATONTHEPLATE because it was so good. Must go to if you see it in kihei or Kahului.

The grilled chicken cilantro lime wrap was incredible. It was huge and was loaded with greens and sprouts. I will definitely be returning.

I’m a local from Pukalani, Maui and I’ve found Mike’s food truck at 1st Friday in Wailuku, 4th Friday in Kihei, and at Kamaole Beach Park III in the parking lot across the way. Besides his ono(very yummy) ribs, I’ve also tried desserts and really good chicken enchiladas! EVERYTHING they make is excellent! And be sure to take home a homemade bottle of the best BBQ sauce ever! I’ve put it on chicken and pork so far and it’s SOOOOOGOOD! Go look for Dibs on Da Ribs! You will be so happy you did!
