Hawaiian Fiesta

Of my whole 3 week tour of Hawaii this is where I had the most amazing burrito. My girlfriend and I kept saying after how none compared the one we had here. Well deserved 5 stars

BEST shrimp and fish tacos in central Maui. Great value, friendly and welcoming service, awesome salsa, and incredible, authentic cuisine. The only thing I was bummed about on my most recent visit was that the nachos had too little chips, but more unfortunate was that they were the tortilla chips that come in that giant bag from Costco (not authentic). I was disappointed by this, but I still think 5 stars are well deserved overall. I wish they stayed open until 6pm. If so, I’d get to enjoy their food more often. A definite must try!!!

I had the shrimp burrito, wife had shrimp tacos with a side of rice. We loved loved loved both, hot sauce very good not too hot, service was very very nice and friendly.

Food is awesome. Known the owner from his days at Fiesta Time (back when his father owned it) and the food was great then. He has taken his skill and his passion into his food truck here at the harbor. Just had the best carnitas burrito ever. Nestor still remembered my usual order (chicken taquitos which isn’t on the menu) from Fiesta Time years ago and told me to call ahead so he could make it for me. Awesome food, awesome owner big portions and good prices. What else can one ask for.

Just had the fish burrito… awesome! Jaime is the former co-​owner of Fiesta Time. So expectations were high… needless to say expectations were exceeded by the layers of flavors. I am so happy to be able to eat their food again… Mahalo bruddah!

Delicious food, perfectly cooked shrimp. The owner was so nice, warm and friendly. The service was excellent (better than anywhere else we’ve been to on the island). The food is a little different from the Mexican food you get in California, but it was incredibly delicious. We’re definitely going back.

Hawaiian Fiesta is a must try for lovers of authentic Mexican style food. And the prices are more affordable than the brick and mortar places nearby!
I was happy to see the owner of this place is the same guy who opened up Fiesta Time when they first started. I missed the taste of the food, although Fiesta Time now is still pretty good. But, if you can experience the food here at Hawaiian Fiesta, there is a noticeable difference in the taste and preparation. Their burritos are so good, I order them in pairs each time I go! Loaded with tasty meats (steak, pork, or chicken — your choice) and they run about $ 9.00 each. Not too shabby!
Their homemade salsa, although not for sale in larger quantities, is also muy sabroso!
I can’t rave enough about this find! Everytime I pass the Kahului Harbor on Kahului Beach Road, I feel obligated to stop, since my mouth starts watering and my stomach starts grumbling «feed me!»
Located near the other food trucks at the Kahului Boat Ramp entrance off of Kahului Beach Road, this truck looks like a converted small tour bus. They sell a wide array of food, including fish tacos, but it’s their burritos that have me hooked! Beef, chicken or pork! Now that they have fish tacos, I’m sure you can order a burrito with fish as well! I hear they also do catering as well.
If you’ve driven by and seen the truck but didn’t think of stopping, or wondered about the food, let me tell you, you won’;t get better tasting authentic Mexican style food anywhere else nearby. Hawaiian Fiesta is the real deal and will have you craving for more! I know I do! Just thinking about it is making me salivate!

The food truck is among a few others by Kahului harbor. It was perfect last stop before our flight back home, as it isn’t too far from the airport.
We’ve had many fish tacos since we’ve been in Maui the last 8 days but this was my fav. They aren’t skimpy on their meat either.
Do yourself a favor and make a stop here!

New business and excellent, fresh food. Fish and shrimp tacos are screaming. Ono! The two guys who run the truck (Raul and Nestor) are so nice and friendly… We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by Hawaiian Fiesta for lunch @ Kahului Harbor. Big portions, fresh food, and great service! Try the chicken nachos and veggie burrito with a mexican coke! Will come again Thanks. :)

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Nestor) and we were extremely satisfied with the service and the quality of the food! Being in Maui, the prices were reasonable! My wife enjoyed her shrimp scampi and I enjoyed my Hawaiian Diabla! Hope to be back in Maui soon!

This place needs more reviews. I think it’s overshadowed by the Shrimp Truck next to it. Since I placed an order for shrimp already at Geste’s, I decided to try out their fish taco… and by golly, it was amazing. Big piece of fish with beans, lettuce, and cheese. My friend got a fish burrito and he said it was best one he’s had. Fish in every bite! I had many fish tacos on this trip and this was the winner.

Being from California I have pretty high expectations for tacos… this food truck had amazingly good carnitas tacos… it wasn’t just soaked in the lard that it is usually cooked in. It had an addicting crunch on the outside and the meat was so tender. The dollop of guacamole on top was creamy and flavorful. My boyfriend got the fish burrito which he inhaled in just about 5 min so I didn’t really get a chance to try it. I’m assuming that it was delicious since he ended up having a food coma. Definitely a place to stop at to get a quick taco fix.
