Moki’s Mochi

I started following Moki’s Mochi on Twitter and Instagram and liked them on Facebook since I first sampled their goodies last month. Good decision on my part because they always post about their new flavors/​seasonal flavors.
I was waiting for a good time to put in my order~~~and now it’s Valentine’s season. Aside from their original 4 flavors that I tried (see my previous post), they were also offering white or milk chocolate covered/​layered [fresh] strawberries wrapped in cocoa or strawberry mochi – kind of reminiscent of the ones from Two Ladies Kitchen on Big Island, but more customizable because you get to choose which chocolate and which mochi they use on your mochi. They also had a banana cream pie, banana foster, blueberry creamcheese as new offerings just in time for Valentine’s…needless to say I tried them all and ordered a couple 8 piece packs (mix-​n-​match flavors is OK).
DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS! (i’m having a hard time having them in my fridge right now… my self-​control is straining).
I still love the lemon meringue, but my new favorite might be the banana cream pie~~~YUUUUUM! You bite in and you can SEE the banana it it! The whole blueberries in the blueberry cheesecake are the best part about it (pops of fruity flavor, mMm). Apparently, the banana foster one is made with real rum, in case anyone wants to know, but it doesn’t taste strongly of it; I actually could have used more of it to be honest, but I’m not sure if that’s just because I’m a rum luvin’ sort of girl, tee hee ^_​^ And of course the strawberry ones were good; when is strawberry and chocolate together not good? For real? And they were offered at the perfect time (in time for Valentine’s)
Side note: I asked them how they suggest storing the mochi. The answer is, «We recommend up to 3 days in the fridge. Eaten fresh and at room temperature is best!»

I love mochi and this is one the best mochi around. She has so many different fillings it’s hard to choose a favorite. The salted caramel brownie, key lime and any of the cheesecake flavors are some of my top favorites. But they are all ono. I just ordered the fresh strawberry covered with chocolate, I haven’t tried it yet. I can’t wait. It’s hard to just eat one.
What’s great about it she uses fresh ingredients and you can really taste the quality.
