I have lived here over a year but sadly am moving away from the islands. Been on the island most of my life and this has been the best place I’ve ever lived. Don’t know why people would lie and say its bad. The staff is friendly and helpful, its close to everything, and the neighbors are actually neighborly. I’m really gonna miss this place.

I have lived on Maui for 12+ years. I have lived in the Waterfront at Kahului since 2012. I am very pleased with the response I get when I need a repair done. I am very much a OCD type person and deserve a response. I get it. The place is secure, the property manager Danielle makes sure everyone is on the up and up. It is a gated community with live cameras watching the entire complex 24⁄7. Prior places I have lived at I smelled weed every single night and was annoying, here I have NEVER smelled any drugs or pakalolo period. My rental rate has been fair with the rest of the area. I don’t feel scared or afraid of any crime. The place is safe, secure and reliable. All the management and workers on the property are friendly, happy, and always greet me. I feel fortunate to live here. Compared to the rest of Maui that nothing is taken care of, and a prior complex I lived in, in Kihei near the Safeway; where they do not take care of anything. This is so the opposite. The sugar burn is away from the building and I hardly smell it. I can’t be more spoiled to live here. I can honestly tell you Danielle and Emma are wonderful office people, they listen and address things right away. Even when things are issues, they don’t ever mistreat me or give me any signs they are annoyed with me, they deal with it, and fix it! College kids here are a thing of the past, no one is poor here. This is a higher end complex with nice upgrades and amazing room to park. I even have additional parking I pay for which is hard to find on this island. This building is rather new(2006). For what Maui is, this is the best of the best! I won’t leave as long as my rent does not go up in a big way. The biggest ALOHA in a central part of Maui is here! We do get lots of rain here and cooler weather. You can even smell the ocean from across the street, overlooking the Kahului Harbor. Kihei is too hot and too dry, this is a mix of all types of weather. The walls are quiet and you don’t hear your neighbor much. I am on a end unit, but I an still connected to another apartment to the right. I actually can fit 2 queen beds and a futon in a one bedroom for me and my roommate. It’s a win/win for my lifestyle! I am very particular, and very OCD. It has to be almost perfect!

I have lived here for two years and my family(including at young child and small dog) and I have had a great experience. You can make wonderful friends, let your children play safely with other children in the courtyard, and grill out with other residents on the weekends. Ms. Danielle, the property manager, has been very accommodating and maintenance is quick to respond if you have any issues. I do not know of anyone who has had anything stolen, I have never seen any intoxicated kids about or violence, and have not seen any rampant drug use. I am not affiliated with this business in anyway, and yes Maui is expensive. The Complex has seemed to strike a good balance between rule enforcement and allowing for socialization, but after 10PM the public area closes down. Our family plans on staying as we have made many friends; we have been shown nothing but Aloha. Finally, the area is very convenient situated between both Malls and major thoroughfares.

The people who own this are slum lords. The entire building reaks of sewage. Don’t let the picture on the website fool you. No unit looks as nice as these pictures(only the model) The walls are thin and you can hear everything the people are saying and doing(if you catch my drift) next door. The«roommate» situation is freaking awful, Crime is rampant, I’ve had my stuff stolen 3 times so I bought a safe and switched roommates. My next roommate stole the safe… A good majority of the people who stay here are the poorest people on the island and lots are drug addicts. I rather sleep in a homeless HIV tuberculosis ridden dump than this place, that’s actually not far off.
