Great food at reasonable prices. Clean restaurant and friendly service. I had a Calzone. It was phenomenal. I couldn’t eat it all, so it was packed up to go. Very good the next day too. I recommend this place to everyone visiting and want great Italian food. George the owner is a great guy

Unfortunately they don’t open till 3pm. The thin sliced pizza was mediocre at best. I didn’t care much for the sauce. Coming from NY where the best pizza is served; my standards are probably very high. I got the Caesar salad and it was nothing to rave about. The atmosphere is cozy. The tables have red checkered table cloths boon them. There are a few tables outside.

Sloooooooooooooooooowwww, but otherwise, decent. Just expect to spend time there. My wife had a gluten free pizza, and it wasn’t cardboardy at all. I had the calzone and they didn’t do too well with spreading out the topics, but it was tasty.(And greasy) Also the décor was straight out of a male college kids dorm room. Tacked in posters of taxi driver, reservoir dogs, and the rat pack? Would come back, would bring a book.

we stumbled over this place and decided to come for dinner one day because it smelled so good. We are so happy that we came back. We ordered veggie whole pie and pizza sub. Both were out of this world! The crust was amazingly delicious so as the ingredients on the pizza. I can confidently say that was the best pizza I have ever had. We are planning to come back here before our vacation ends. They also have beer and wine. They have outdoor seating, friendly staff and the kitchen closes at 9. There is pizza and then there is Bianellis. Must have experience! We went back after 3 days and had deep dish veggie pizza and meatball sub! Amazing! They need to open up another location in NYC!

The pizza was ok. The server for take-out was not friendly at all. For sit down service it seemed like some servers were warm and friendly while others were lacking in people skills.

I’m so over the attitude over the phone. Tonight is the last night I will be ordering from here for a very long time.

Great pie! The dough held up to the toppings but was not tough. The sauce was sweet and had a hint oregano in it. The service was attentive and hospitable. The pizza the next day was still delicious. Stop in it you can.

I was recently in Kona and had the opportunity to try Bianelli’s. I highly recommend it if you like pizza. I had The Gorgonzolla deep dish. It was excellent, even cold the next day. I like that you can get the normal small, medium, large sizes, but they also offer deep dish for all of their pizzas, because I can’t get enough deep dish pizza. If I make it to Kona again, I will have Bianelli’s again.

I’ve only ordered take out pizza from here but man is the pizza good. I don’t usually keep it so simple when I order pizza from other places but I’m obsessed with their margarita pizza. It’s delicious!

This is an authentic Italian restaurant in Kailua Kona. Worthwhile hunting it down. It is located in an odd location next to the market and doesn’t have an entrance facing the parking area. I ordered the full order of spinach ravioli. The marinara sauce would have been given two thumbs up by my Italian grandma. Had fresh basil and cheese topping. The garlic bread was sizable. The ravioli was homemade. Honestly…it was the best spinach ravioli I’ve ever had. If you chose this restaurant for lunch or dinner, you made the best decision of the day. Enjoy!

Spent the day at the beach so we stopped in to pick up a couple of pizzas to go. We ordered two pizzas, one thin crust pepperoni and one combo with regular hand tossed crust. We told the girl at the counter we would wait outside because we didn’t want to take up a table. After 20 minutes my husband checked back in and they said oh are you waiting for pizzas, and it turned out they had been sitting there for about 10 minutes already. Needless to say our pizzas were barely warm by the time we got back to the hotel. I didn’t care for the thin crust pizza, it reminded me of a frozen pizza with bland sauce, cardboard crust that was also soggy. The combo was a little better but still had a bland crust. We will not be going back. So disappointed.

The food was very good but we sat for 20 min before we even got asked for our drink order. Hope they get better customer service because it would have made experience so much better. Other than that the food was good so if you are fine with a annoying wait you should come here.

My husband and I were tired of the tourist scene and wanted something near our condo. I read all of the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We wanted leftovers so we ordered a small veggie pizza and a half order of spaghetti and meatballs and pesto bread. The crust, the sauce, the meatballs… everything was delicious. Our server and the hostess were friendly and attentive. It is clearly a mom and pop kinda place. Regarding takeout, we saw a steady stream of folks getting their to go orders without waiting an unreasonable amount of time. When we asked our server about yesterday’s delay, she said they had a rush and then mentioned to the owner that we had asked. He came over to our table and explained his version of what happened and let us know that it was not how they usually do business and will make sure that all customers would get their food in a timely manner which was what we saw happening one day later. Wow. At least they take our comments to heart and care and have good food! We will certainly come here again for table service or to get a to go order.

If you’re getting tired of all the local food and want something different, stop by Bianelli’s for some pizza! We ordered the Bufala pizza(house specialty) which has a garlic sauce topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and basil. I’ve been into white pizzas lately, so this was right up my alley. The crust had a light crunch and I love the fluffy texture of the dough. The service was great and I love how they refer to their regular customers by name.

I went here while on vacation and it was really good! the service was attentive, and they even had dairy free cheese in the restaurant, and they were willing to put in on my half of the pizza we ordered. We also had the pasta marinara, which was tasty. I would go back if I go back to Kona! Definitely recommend!

We walked in on a Saturday night after swimming all day up at Hapuna Beach and were starving. The whole vibe is cozy, inviting and had a vintage flare to it. They were playing some 30’s and 40’s big band tunes to accompany the checkered table cloths and old school feel. We were seated quickly and overall service was excellent. The food is simple, well prepared and hearty. There seemed to be a mix of locals, families, couples and tourists. $ 6.95 gets you a half order of pasta-you choose the type and the sauce. It comes with garlic Parmesan bread, which was Ah-mazing! I opted for the shells, marinara and sautéed mushrooms(additional cost but worth it!) It was delicious-the sauce was thick and a bit sweet-definitely tasted fresh and homemade. My boyfriend ordered a build your own pizza with sundried tomatoes and onions. He said he’s had better crust but overall enjoyed it. Located in an unassuming spot, in the Keauhou Shopping Center, it was close to our resort, a great value and a nice option other than all the toursity restaurants down in the main strip of Kona.
