My father had been thinking of selling his home and started interacting with Steven J. Ellison a year-​and-​a-​half ago. (Anyone who can tolerate my father’s lovable idiosyncracies for that long is already pretty amazing.)
When I first met Steven, I immediately picked up on his, for lack of a better word, goodness. That is an important factor when you are entrusting someone to handle what is possibly your largest and most important life investment.

I’ve always known that Clark Realty has a great reputation in Kona and the Big Island. They only operate in the Big Island, so they’ve got deep roots here. I really appreciated Steven saying he would never pressure his clients. He wanted his clients to feel comfortable with the whole process. He sincerely put forward his philosophy that the «the client’s interests come first». That was evident from how he approached working with my father, who, before I met him, described him to me as sincere.
