One of my favorite beaches to relax at, on the Big Island. After hitting all the surf spots during the week, it feels nice to hit a chill spot to just meditate, eat ono grindz, and get your tan on. This place is def not packed like the beaches on Ali’i Drive in Kona. Waaaay more chillaxed. I tend to stay away from beach parks with bathrooms as I use the ocean as my bathroom(I’m all about being organic), but the bathrooms here are nice and organized & clean. If you have a big Ohana, this is good place to bring them for Sunday BBQs. Mahalo

I hesitate to put this on Unilocal as the SECRET beach has limited access as it is. You need a limited pass from the front Gate for your ticket to paradise for the kiddies. The water gradually slopes to about 5 ft 10 –15 yards out. The protected cove is great for the toddlers to splash about or get their sea legs. Full restroom facilities and showers are an added bonus. Come! Enjoy! But don’t tell anyone… it’s a s e c r e t.
