I love this place but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a locals shop where people get their basic essentials along with snacks and booze. I stopped here real quick while on a bike ride through the Kona coffee estates, and grabbed a quick snack from the super kind older Japanese couple who I assume own the cute little store. We munched on some fresh fruit and packaged sandwiches while chillin on their wooden bench outside. Make sure you toss your recyclables in the unmarked little metal cage next to the bench. There’s also a faucet next to the cute little 50s style gas pump for you to wash your hands before munching. This place just brings me happy thoughts of the simple life out in the country and it’s good to see a true mom and pop shop still around.
