We were visiting Kona with our family including three grandchildren and looking for a reasonably priced yet nutritious lunch. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed! The sandwiches did not include nearly enough veggies considering the price charged. The quantities of veggies in their containers were low and they were trying to skimp. Why not have ample quantities out there to begin with! The service was extremely slow. In fact, we had to wait while our server started an order for the customer behind us. We asked for toasted bread, which was cold by the time we ate. Then the server had trouble figuring out the total for our order for the five of us. She ended up charging us nearly $ 40 for what should have been less than half that amount! I should have gone back and complained but did not want to spend the whole afternoon there!

Don’t ask to use the key to go to the bathroom. Wow. The employees there should be very embarrassed to act like the with customers. Never go here. Shame shame. Now closed at 2:30.

Glad to find a subway in Alii Dr. Needed some to-go sandwiches for the Mauna Kea trip. The employees were friendly and got everything done quickly.

Same great Subway food, nice view but seating is outside so gets hot. Staff is great, restaurant is small, but overall a great experience.
