i’ve solved the mystery maybe. we went looking for this place and couldn’t find it, but was in the same area as longboard legends pizza and lemongrass thai. i think longboard legends took over this space, based on the photo of the counter and space leading out back. RIP Tracy’s, i truly never knew ye.

The wife wasn’t a fan of raw fish from Umeke’s where I grabbed lunch, so she stopped at this place which was next door and got a turkey sandwich on foccaccia bread. I got the lilikoi smoothie with lilikoi purée, frozen banana and guava juice. The sandwich was huge, and the smoothie very tasty. There wasn’t a line when we first came in, but by the time we were leaving there was a line out the door. Considering it was a Monday afternoon(4⁄15), that says a lot about the food.

Tracie does it all right. All ingredients are fresh and mostly local if possible. The prices are very good, and the service is too notch. Everyone is always very pleasant just as the food is always good. A great deli to grab a sandwich, some homemade soup, and most important, homemade desserts. My favorites are the coffee cheesecake, the lemon bar and the peanut butter brownie. You really cannot go wrong with any of them. She used to be at a different location, and there is one thing that was on the menu that isn’t now– the Zorba. An amazing Greek sandwich, I wish she would make now. Unfortunately the current location is not the best, so people who don’t already know about this diamond, will probably miss it. In always try to make it here if I’m not working during the week. Closed weekends :( Even the Amazing Tracy needs a rest though!

Great fresh eats! The line took a while, but it seemed like it was because of the detail of the custom orders of the people in front of us. We got a tip from my sister that the lilikoi ice tea was good. It was right on. They had so many creative sandwich options, and you can build your own, so you can’t lose. I had the grinding gyro which was excellent with grilled veggies, and my husband was able to put down the hot mess. Not quite sure how he did that, as it was such a solid-meat-filled offering. I admit that it took a bit longer to get the food than I would normally expect from a sandwich shop, but it was worth it. Obviously, nothing was sitting around pre-made.

Heard nothing but great feedback from Tracy’s, so I stopped in. Having cool people that I know working there is a plus… but I ordered the soup and chicken salad and was blown away. Best soup/salad lunch in a long time.
