If you aren’t sure what an outrigger canoe is or that Hawai’i is an actual island archipelago, just go ahead and skip this review. So you want to paddle a six person outrigger canoe? Well don’t sell yourself short. Skip all the other crap out there and go straight to Hawai’i for a paddle in the good old Kapa’a. It’s so fast that I’m still recovering from plastic surgery. A surgery that was required after my face split and peeled off my skull from the insane amounts of acceleration this boat provided. Don’t believe me eh? Well you’ll just have to train in your one man canoe for a year, buy a plane ticket to Moloka’i, find five other people an nuts as you are, then paddle the Kapa’a some 32 odd miles to the shores of O’ahu. Just be sure to reserve a time slot with Dr. Flowers or some other competent plastic surgeon.
