Strictly Christmas

My boyfriend and I love collecting Christmas ornaments as souvenirs from our travels. It’s always nice to pull them out during the holidays and remember where we were when we bought the ornament. We decided to check out Strictly Christmas in Kailua since we were staying nearby in Lanikai. It’s a cute little shop with different types of ornaments. We ended up buying 4 ornaments that reminded us of our time in Hawaii (glass sea turtle, glass blow fish, little hula girl, and little tiki with Santa hat on). They were on sale so everything only cost $ 23. I thought that was a great deal since two of the ornaments were glass. The lady helping us (Sophia?) was very nice and packed the glass in bubble wrap for us. She also chatted with us a bit about our trip the shop is cute and the lady was friendly.

Twice I have tried this shop with my mom who is an avid crocheter. Last time I really wanted a new tree-​topper. But the staff were so rude, gave us stink-​eye the minute we walked in, never offered to help, started shutting off lights, etc. Then announced they were closed. It was 2pm. Very strange and sad because we wanted to spend some money.

This place has some cool stuff abd used to be an awesome place in Kailua. The reason for only acheiving 1 star is because of the co-​owner Sylvia. She is one of the rudest people I have met in retail and the reason I will no longer be shopping at strictly Christmas:(

Great craft shop. Staff so friendly. You can go sit and knit or crochet on site and if you need help with your project they are avalb. Lots of craft boxes cross stich too. All year round they have Christmas items.

If you need yarn, notions, knitting instruction books, help from a real person, Christmas ornaments, (even Radko), lights or parts of a miniature town, this is your place!
Sylvia and Rhonda are almost always in as well as any number of their knitting group and any one of them will help you.
