This review is for the Subway next to where Blockbuster used to be in Kailua. Great sandwich artists here! They don’t skimp on the veggies cause they don’t have an Asian boss/owner looking over their shoulder counting how many olives they put (Enchanted Lake). They pile on the veggies and sauce and it’s usually not too busy so I’m in and out with my preggo-craving-version of the monthly special: extra pickles, extra banana peppers, extra vinegar. If they sold salt & vinegar chips if get that too! Thank you dear makers of a delicious sandwich for feeding me and baby in the opu.

This subway always puts veggies in their subs… Many don’t put enough! The guy was cool and he hooked us up with veggies!!! Salad between two pieces of bread!!!

It’s just a regular old Subway, clean shop and friendly workers. They have spinach for your sandwiches and salads which is a plus. The good ends there, because although the door says they close at 9 pm Monday thru Saturday, every time I go in when I’m done with my workout (about 8:15 — 8:30) the «Sandwich Artists» always have the containers out of the cooler and are cleaning up stuff like they are already closed. I understand everyone wants to get out early, but is it really necessary to make your customers feel unwelcome? Especially when it gets busy at the end of the night and you complain that more people are walking in! I will still return to this store since it’s the closest to my house, but it would be nice for the closing early thing to change or for the hours of operation to be clarified.
